LLM Intellectual Property Law offers you a comprehensive programme on law, management and policy relating to patents, copyright, trade marks and other rights.

You will examine international and comparative perspectives that cover traditional IP issues like industrial property, literary and artistic works and brands. You will also have the opportunity to study new and emerging areas of policy including the digital economy and biotechnology.

Our programme reflects the growing importance of international developments in IP, and confronts growing controversies such as the relationships between IP and human rights norms, access to knowledge, health and economic development.

You will explore the international norms and institutions relating to intellectual property such as the World Trade OrganisationÕs TRIPS Agreement, and consider the wider social and economic implications of intellectual property for health, culture, education, technology, innovation and economic development.
