The program aims to emphasize analog and digital circuit design, power electronics and electrical systems, control, and microwave and millimeter-wave technologies; areas with a major skills shortage worldwide and particularly in the UK.
The School has collaborations, partnerships, industrial placement schemes, and public engagement programs with organizations, including Vodafone, Google, IBM, BT, NASA, BBC, and Microsoft.
Students will devise and carry out a major dissertation, which you can choose to do in collaboration with an industrial partner.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Applicants must hold a UK 2:1 or above at undergraduate level in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
A GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 is required to be eligible for the program.
Or, good 2:2 degrees will be considered on an individual basis.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students must complete an undergraduate degree with first-class in a relevant field from a highly ranked university in India.
Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Bachelor's degree with 60% to 70% overall depending on the institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

Students must have a CAS from Queen Mary to be able to apply for a student visa to study here.
To request a CAS please select the CAS and Immigration tile in the applicant portal and follow the instructions. Students will not be issued a CAS until they have firmly accepted an unconditional offer, paid any required deposit and the CAS issuing window must be open. Students can apply from overseas up to 6 months before your course start date.
