The teachers and the campus facilities were excellent. The course has 120 credits, with the final project/dissertation worth 60. We were taught by former journalists who have worked with BBC for several years. There were also a series of practical workshops to produce content for radio, TV, and online. We were supposed to have a workshop inside the BBC but was cancelled due to the first lockdown in 2020.
The tuition fee was around £11,000 excluding the cost of living. Manchester is the best place for affordable living and it has a large student population. It factored into choosing the city. The cost of living will depend on whether you are staying at a student accommodation or a shared living space (house/apartment).
Curriculum is up to date and covered interesting subject areas. But I wish if they had more subjects related to industrial applications rather than theoretical applications.

The curriculum is very hands-on and practical. It was designed in a way that encouraged open class discussions. My course was designed very closely with the BBC R & D team and their on going projects giving us necessary industry inputs and experience. The course offered us various opportunities to interact with and learn from industry experts and academic experts on certain topics. These guest lectures were intertwined with the main course content. The online and offline libraries aided the students to pursue any and all ideas. These were then discussed with related professors. The highlight of the course was the chance we got to pick up theoretical knowledge and also apply it while it was fresh in our minds constantly.
I had to pay in USD as an international student and my tuition fee was around INR 15 lac (GBP 14310). In addition to this, I also had to bear my accommodation fee.
The course that Iam enrolled to is a research oriented and supervisor plays an important role in your PhD journey. Choose your supervisor wisely.

Well designed and relevant to the changing times. We had Industrial Placement as one of our core modules which gave me an opportunity to work in a foreign country.
There is a £15,000 program fee.
