- Over the course students will develop skills with industry-standard equipment, such as a scanning tunnelling microscope for atomic scale probing, and the hp4124 parameter analyser for power devices.
- They will have the chance to build an understanding of prototyping and production methods and components, while learning how to construct and evaluate advanced models of manufacturing techniques.
- By the end of the course they will be able to confidently differentiate, analyse and discuss product lifetime management solutions, and how they impact specific industry sectors.

- Applicants from non-European countries who seek an international degree at Swansea University require a student visa. Once the student is accepted by the university, he /she should apply for a ‘short-term study visa (for a duration of fewer than 6 months)’ or ‘Tier-4 (General) student visa’.
- The application needs to be made through the UK Embassy or UK High Commission at their place of permanent residence. One must apply for a visa 3 months prior to the commencement of the course.
An applicant needs to pay the visa application fee before applying for a student visa and submit the following documents:
