Noorul Islam University [NICHE] Admissions 2024: Courses, Fees, Selection Criteria

NICHE offers a Full-Time B.Tech. course in various specializations. The program is offered in regular mode for 4 years.

B.E./B.Tech Specializations-

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate who wants admission must have cleared class 10+2 (Physics, Mathematics & any other subject allowed by CBSE or Equivalent Board) with min. 45% marks are eligible to apply.
• Candidates will have to qualify JEE Mains or entrance exam to secure admission in B.Tech.

Selection Criteria

The selection criteria for B.Tech. admission is based on marks scored in JEE Mains or entrance exam conducted by NICHE.

NICHE offers B.B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. courses at the undergraduate level. The basic eligibility is to have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with relevant subjects.

B.Sc. is offered under the following specializations-

1. Cardiac Technology
2. Perfusion Technology
3. Renal Dialysis Technology
4. Forensic Sciences
5. Human Genetics
6. Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology
7. Information Science & Cyber Forensics

Eligibility Criteria

BBA & B.Com.

• Candidates cleared 10+2 (CBSE or any Equivalent Board) with min. 40% marks are eligible to apply for BBA, B.Com.
• Candidates will have to qualify entrance to secure their admission.

B.Sc.

• For B.Sc. (PCM), the candidates must have passed 12th class or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
• For B.Sc. in Biology the candidate must have successfully completed 10+2 in Science (with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics)/ Biology with min. 50%

Selection Criteria

Selection for BBA, B.Com. and B.Sc. will be based on marks scored in entrance followed by an interview and merit of class 12.

NICHE offers a full-Time M.Tech. course in various specializations. The program is offered in regular mode for 2 years.

M.E./M.Tech Specializations

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate who wants admission must have cleared BTECH with min. 45% marks are eligible to apply.
• Candidates will have to qualify GATE or entrance exam to secure admission in M.Tech.

Selection Criteria

• For admission in M.E./M.Tech courses, the candidate shall write an entrance examination designed to test the proficiency of the Candidate in the relevant branch of the UG Degree. It is not necessary to write the entrance examination if the Candidate has a GATE/GRE score or score in the examination conducted at All India Level by the constituent statutory authority. 
• Admission to the M.E./M.Tech programs by the University shall be on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination and the performance of the prospective Candidate in the Entrance Test. A relaxation of 5% marks is given to candidates belonging to reserved classes.

NICHE offers MA, M.Sc., M.Com. courses at the postgraduate level. The duration for these courses is two years. The basic eligibility is to have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant subjects.

M.Sc. is offered under the following specializations-

• M.Sc.Mathematics
• M.Sc.Physics
• M.Sc.Chemistry
• M.Sc. Cyber Forensic
• M.Sc. Software Engineering – Integrated
• M.Sc.Human Genetics And Molecular Biology

Eligibility Criteria

MA & M.Sc.-

• Passed in 10+2 examination or any other (academic) equivalent examination with Maths / Business Maths / Statistics or Any two subjects from the following list [Physics /Chemistry /Commerce /Accountancy /Computer Science and Electronics] as compulsory subjects at plus two level
• The Candidate shall satisfy the conditions regarding qualifying marks, number of attempts, and mode of admission, age and physical fitness as prescribed by the competent statutory authority.

M.Com.-

• The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing M.Com. degree is having graduation degree in Commerce Stream
• The Candidate shall satisfy the conditions regarding qualifying marks, number of attempts, and mode of admission, age and physical fitness as prescribed by the competent statutory authority.
• Notwithstanding the above qualifying examination, the Candidate might have passed, he/she shall write an entrance examination designed to test the proficiency/aptitude of the Candidate on areas determined by the constituent statutory authority. 

Selection Criteria

MA & M.Sc.-

• Admission to the M.Sc. Software Engineering (5yrs) Program by the University shall be on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination and the performance of the Candidate in the Entrance Test.
• A candidate, who is qualified for the Bachelor’s Degree in English under 10+2+3 pattern or Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/ Humanities / Social Science / Commerce under 10+2+3 pattern with English in Part-II and approved by the UGC or AICTE or any other National regulatory body or any other qualification declared as its equivalent by the Board of Management (BOM) of the University as equivalent thereto.
• The Candidate shall satisfy the conditions regarding qualifying marks, number of attempts, and mode of admission, age and physical fitness as prescribed by the BOM of the University.

M.Com.- Admission to the M.Com. Program by the University shall be on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination and the performance of the prospective candidate in the Entrance Test.

MBA is offered under two disciplines namey, M.B.A. Master Of Business Administration and

M.B.A. Human Resources Management.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates have to clear graduation with min. 50% marks are eligible 
• Candidates will have to qualify the CAT/MAT/SAT exam to secure their admission.

Selection Criteria

• For admission in MBA, the candidates have to write an entrance examination designed to test the proficiency/aptitude of the Candidate on areas determined by the constituent statutory authority. 
• Admission to the M.B.A Program by the University shall be on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination and the performance of the prospective Candidate in the Entrance Test, Group Discussion, and Interview.
• It is not necessary to write the entrance examination if the Candidate has CAT/MAT/SAT score or score in the examination conducted at All India Level by a competent Authority.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates have to clear graduation with min. 50% marks are eligible 
• Candidates will have to qualify the entrance exam to secure their admission.

Selection Criteria

• For MCA admissions, the candidates have to write an entrance examination designed to test the proficiency of the Candidate as decided by the constituent statutory authority. 
• Admission to the M.C.A Program by the University shall be on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination and the performance of the Candidate in the Entrance Test.

Noorul Islam Centre of Higher Secondary (NICHE) offers many M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses at the research level. The basic eligibility is to have passed a master’s degree or equivalent examination with relevant subjects.

M.Phil. degree is offered in the following specializations:

• Management
• Computer Science
• Physics
• Chemistry
• English
• Mathematics
• Biotechnology

A Ph.D. degree is offered in the following specializations:

• Engineering Technology
• Science and Humanities
• Management Studies

Eligibility Criteria

M.Phil- Master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks.

Ph.D. Degree in Engineering/Technology- M.E/M.Tech. or any other qualifications recognized as equivalent thereto in the relevant branch of Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks.
 

Ph.D. Degree in Science and Humanities- M.Sc./M.C.A./M.A. or any other qualifications recognized as equivalent thereto in the relevant branch of Science and Humanities with a minimum of 55% marks.

Ph.D. Degree in Management Studies- MBA or any other qualifications recognised as equivalent thereto in Management Studies with a minimum of 60% marks.

Selection Criteria

Admission to Ph.D. programs will be based on performance in the entrance exam conducted by the university. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written examination or NET Score.

All GATE/NET qualified candidates shall be eligible for direct admission to the Ph.D. program. Other eligible applicants shall be called for a written test. Based on the performance in the written test, the candidates shall be shortlisted and called for interview by the selection committee constituted for that purpose by the University.
