Andhra University offers an M. Tech degree with 30+ specializations. This is a two-year course that claims B. Tech with 50% aggregate marks as a minimum criterion for the candidates to be admitted here. Two types of M. Tech courses are being run by the Andhra university here: evening course (for the locally employed people) and regular course. Candidates need to possess a valid GATE score or they need to hold a suitable rank in the AP PGECET exam to get selected for the regular course.

- The eligibility criteria for the M. Tech evening course will be there only for the local people of Telangana state.
- The candidates need to be resident of the state and they also need to finish studying followed by the examination after 4 years of studying and staying in that state (Telangana)
