Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 1-year Full-time Master of Laws [L.L.M.] should be completed his LLB from a recognized university.

Course Details

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) offers one year LL.M. program in Constitutional Law, Commercial Law and Criminal Law. Applicants seeking admission in this course are required to clear CLAT Exam. To appear for the exam, it is necessary to have bachelor’s degree in Law or Equivalent. 

Candidate can apply for CLAT through its official website. Application forms will be available from month of January to April. One needs to choose DSNLU LLM course as the choice of institute and course while registering for exam. 

Candidate needs to pay application fee of INR 4000/- (INR 3500/- for SC/ST).

Eligibility

Eligibility for the institute will be same as that of CLAT exam.

  • LL.B. degree or any other equivalent from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST). 
  • Candidates awaiting for their qualifying examination results are also eligible to appear in CLAT examination.

Admission Process

Selection of candidate for admission will done on CLAT Scores. 

Unfilled ST seats will be made available for SC students and vice versa. If seats remained vacant for reserved categories then they will considered for All India students. 

Vacants seats in particular BC group will be made available to adjacent group. 

If seats in BC group still remains vacant then those will be allotted to general category students.

How To Apply?

  • Register at CLAT website “www.clat.ac.in”.
  • Email regarding User id and password will be given to registered id.
  • Login and fill the online application form.
  • Upload scanned photograph, signature, birth certificate and category certificate.
  • Pay fee by clicking on “Payment of the Application Fee”.
  • Fee can be paid either through online mode or through bank challan
  • Post fee submission, application registration will be considered successful.

Reservation

  • 50% seats are reserved for Andhra Pradesh Students.
  • 40% are allotted to All India Merit.
  • 10% for Foreign Nationals and NRIs.
