University of Hyderabad (UOH) was established in 1974 as a central university by an Act of Parliament. Also Known as Hyderabad Central University (HCU), it is a unitary university situated at Gachibowli Hyderabad. After Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Hyderabad University has the largest campus area of 2500 acres among all the central universities in India. The university is recognized as an Institute of Eminence by the UGC and is accredited by the NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. Step 1: Registration: The registration process for admission to all courses (all of the courses (provided on the university campus) usually begin in May or June and lasts till August. Step 3: Merit List: Based on entrance exam scores and interviews (wherever applicable), the university will release a merit list of shortlisted candidates for counselling.
