Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa has almost 27 academic departments that conduct UG, PG and P.hD level degree courses under different disciplines including engineering, arts, commerce, science and more.

Under UG domain, the students with 10+2 eligibility can choose from almost 6 specializations in B. Tech, BFA, B.P.Ed. and 2 Integrated M.Sc. programs. For B. Tech admissions, candidates must fulfil eligibility norms and appear for the National level entrance test like JEE Mains for admissions followed by counselling process
Aspirants are required to appear for YVUCET Entrance Exam for admission to PG courses like M.Sc., M. Com., M.A., M. P. Ed., M. Ed., M.Sc.
Integrated (Biotechnology and Bioinformatics and Earth Sciences).
For admissions to Ph.D. courses, an eligible student need to secure minimum passing marks in the APRCET.
Oral test will be conducted for P.G. Diploma in Theatre Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts courses offered in Yogi Vemana University College, Kadapa
CAT/MAT/ CMAT or any other national or State Level Entrance Exam score is mandatory for admission to MBA program.
Selection to different courses will be made based on merit in qualifying entrance exam
