The Bachelor's of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) is a two-year program available to graduates, consisting of both theoretical and practical exams. The curriculum emphasizes various sports and teaching methods. Dibrugarh University, where this course is offered, has a department led by Dr. Mantu Bodo, the Head of Department, and four assistant professors: Dr. O. Jiten Singh, Dr. Siddharth Sharma, Dr. Siddharth Rajbonshi, and Pranjit Boruah. Students gain practical experience through internships; physical education students are placed in schools, while engineering students have opportunities with ONGC. The course requires an initial payment of approximately 31,000 INR, plus an additional 10,000 INR for uniforms.
