Dr. C.V. Raman University Admission 2023: Application (Out), Courses, Fees, Dates, Eligibility, Selection Process

Dr. C.V. Raman University offers both BE & Diploma as part of their technical education. The minimum eligibility criterion for B.E. is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For Polytechnic, the minimum eligibility is 10^th pass. Along with this, the university offers Advanced Diploma and PG Diploma 

For admission into the B.E. program, candidates must clear the required entrance examination. The University conducts a Common Entrance Test, CVRU CET for aspiring candidates.

After the entrance examination, the University will publish the merit list following which the candidates will be called for admission. At the time of admission, the following documents need to be submitted:

• Mark Statements of the qualifying examination
• Transfer Certificate / School Leaving Certificate
• Migration Certificate
• Community Certificate (For SC/ST only)
• Domicile Certificate

CVRU offers undergraduate courses other than the technical ones. These include a variety of courses like B.A., BBA, B.Ed., BPES, B.Sc., B.Com, BJMC, BCA, BA LL.B, B.Com. LL.B, BBA LL.B, L.L.B, B.Voc and B.Lib.

For admission into these courses, candidates must have completed 10+2 with the relevant subjects. Candidates must download the application form from the official website and send it to the University. Selection is done on the basis of merit secured in the qualifying exam.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Candidates who are qualified may have to submit the necessary academic documents at the time of admission.

Dr. C.V. Raman University offers M.Tech., MBA and PGDBM as part of their postgraduate program. The minimum eligibility required for the courses is a graduation in relevant field.

CVRU CET is applicable to all the courses. For M.Tech, candidates with valid GATE scores will also be considered for the admission. In the case of MBA and PGDBM, candidates with valid MAT or CAT will also be considered.

The University will publish the merit list of the qualified candidates. These candidates must be present during the admission with the following documents:

CVRU offers courses like M.Sc., PGDRD, M.A., PGDCA, M.Com, MJMC, MPES, L.L.M, M.Lib., MSW, M.Voc and M.Ed. All these programs require graduation in the concerned field.

For admission into courses like L.L.M, candidates must clear the concerned entrance examination. CVRU accepts CLAT for L.L.M admission.

Qualified candidates will be called in for the Counselling session of the concerned entrance examination. Candidates will be allotted seats during the counseling session based on their entrance rank and merit in the qualifying examination.

For Ph.D program, the minimum eligibility is a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject. For the Ph.D. program, candidates must first send in the filled in application form based on which they will be called in for the Interview. Candidates may also have to clear the entrance examination set by the University.

Candidates who cleared the entrance test and are on the Merit list will be called in to complete the admission process.

CVRU also offers various Certification courses under numerous specializations for the candidate to choose from. The Certification courses take only six months to complete. 

The minimum eligibility for a Certification course is 10+2 or equivalent. Admission is based on merit in the qualifying examination.

Candidates who clear the entrance test will then have to attend the Counselling session for admission. They may also have to submit relevant documents and pay the necessary fees to complete the admission process.
