PRSU Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Application Form, Eligibility, Selection Process

PRSU offers various undergraduate courses like BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Pharma, BCA, B.Ed, B.P.Ed & so on in the field of Arts, Commerce, Science, Pharmacy, Education, Management & so on. Admission to such courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 or Graduation, and selection to these courses is purely merit or entrance-based. PRSU offers UG courses with various specializations are tabulated below:

PRSU UG Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in the relevant stream for getting admission into the BA programme offered by PRSU.
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in the relevant stream for getting admission to B.P.Ed programme offered by the university.
• For admission to B.Ed programme, the candidate must have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized board or institution approved by UGC.
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST/OBC) with PCB/ PCM for getting admission into B.Pharma at PRSU

PRSU UG Selection Criteria:

• Admission to all the UG courses at PRSU is done on the basis of merit secured in class 10+2
• Admission to B.Ed at PRSU is done on the basis of merit in an entrance test conducted by the university

PRSU offers various postgraduate courses like MA, M.Sc, MCA, M.Pharm, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, M.Lib & I.Sc & so on in the field of Arts, Commerce, Science, Law, Social Science, Education & so on. Admission to such courses, candidates must have passed Graduation, and selection to these courses is entrance-based. PRSU offers PG courses with various specializations are tabulated below:

PRSU PG Eligibility Criteria:

• For admission to the MA course offered by the university, the candidate must have BA degree in the relevant discipline with the minimum percentage required by the university/
• For admission to the M.Sc course offered by PRSU, the candidate must have a B.Sc degree in the relevant discipline with the minimum percentage required by the university.
• The candidate must have a BCA degree from any recognized board or institution to become eligible for the candidature to the MCA programme offered by PRSU.
• The candidate must have B.Ed degree from any recognized board or institution to become eligible for the candidature to the M.Ed programme offered by the university. The candidate must also have the required minimum percentage of marks.
• For admission to the M.P.Ed programme offered by PRSU, the candidate must have a B.P.Ed degree. Similarly, for admission to M.Lib. & Info.Sc, the candidate must have B.Lib. & Info. Sc. degree from any recognized board or institution with minimum required percentage.

PRSU PG Selection Criteria:

Admission to all the PG courses at PRSU is done on the basis of the merit list released by the university. The merit list prepared by the university will be on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in an entrance examination conducted by the university.

PRSU also offers 1-year post graduate diploma to those students who don’t want to go for masters and still want to acquire some kind of specialization in the particular field. PRSU offers a wide range of specializations under its PG Diploma programme that helps students develop professional skills into them. PRSU PG Diploma Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the PG Diploma programme, under different specializations offered by the university, must possess a bachelor's degree from any recognized board or institution. The bachelor’s degree must be in a relevant field with the minimum percentage required by the university.

PRSU PG Diploma Selection Process

The final selection to the PG Diploma programme offered by the university is done on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the university. The university will release the merit according to marks obtained by candidates in the entrance examination.

PRSU offers a 3-year Ph.D programme under different specializations. These specializations are offered from all three streams - Arts, Commerce, and Science. Below is the table of all specializations that are offered by PRSU to students for admission 2021:

PRSU Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D programme offered by the university under different specializations must possess a master degree from a recognized board or university approved by the UGC. The master degree must be in a relevant subject with the minimum percentage required by the university.

PRSU Ph.D Selection Process

The final selection to the Ph.D programme offered by the university is done on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the university followed by the counselling. Students having JRF certificates are required to sit for an entrance examination and will be directly called for the interview round for the admission process.
