Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Open University, shortly referred to as PSSOU, was established in 2005, by the Chhattisgarh government. It has its regional centers located in Bilaspur, Jagdalpur, Korba. Raipur, Ambikapur, Durg, and Jashpur. The college offers 20 different courses for UG and PG. Admissions are merit-based for most courses, and in certain cases, dependent on scores in the respective entrance examination.

PSSOU Bilaspur Admission
The steps to apply are as follows:
- Visit the official website of PSSOU.

- Pay the application fee of INR 100 through online payment methods or through bank challan.

PSSOU Bilaspur Scholarship
Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Open University has a state-sponsored scholarship for SC/ ST. Candidates need to fill in the form by visiting http://mpsc.mp.nic.in/cgpms/ and apply for the same. Candidates applying to ST or Minority category will be awarded scholarships as per the Government of India’s schemes and plans.

Some of the facilities provided by the college include:
- Library: The institute library has a strong collection of Books, Journals, Legal and General Magazines, Commission Reports, Encyclopaedias, Dictionaries, and General Books.
