Goa University is inviting applications for admission to its BEd Special Education Program offered at the Dnyanvardhini Divyang Training College for the academic year 2023-24. Interested candidates can apply online through the official university website at unigoa.ac.in.

As per Goa University, the last date to apply for Goa University BEd Special Education Admission 2023 is May 02, 2023. Any applications submitted after the given deadline will not be considered.

To apply for admission, candidates need to have a minimum of 50% marks in the BA/BSc/BCom or Graduation in any discipline or any equivalent degree at the graduate level from a recognized Indian University. The minimum required mark for reserved category candidates is 45%.

Goa University BEd Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the BEd course, the candidate must have a Graduation or Post graduation degree from Goa University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
There is a relaxation of 5% marks for the candidates belonging from SC/ST/OBC categories.
In the case of BEd Special Education, the candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board/ Institution.

Goa University BEd Admission Criteria

Selection Criteria

Eligible candidates need to appear for the GU-ART examination and qualify with a valid score
Selected candidates need to appear for a Counselling round
Final admission will be done based on marks scored in GU-ART and the round of counselling.

Entrance Exam

GU-ART examination is conducted for various courses. The examination contains objective type questions of a total of 100 marks.
The total number of questions is 50, each question consists of 2 marks with a negative marking of ½ marks per the wrong question.
The exam duration is 90 minutes.
GU-ART is divided into 3 sections – section 1 (Least difficult) of 15 questions, Section 2 (difficult) of 15 questions and section 3 Most difficult of 20 questions.

Goa University B.Ed Application Process

The candidates need to apply online by filling up the admission form. Candidates need to provide all the correct information. Payment of application fee must be done. Print of the form and the receipt must be taken out for future use.

Candidates must visit the admission portal of Goa University
The candidate must have a valid e-mail ID and must generate a username & password for future reference.
After successful registration, the candidate needs to proceed further to fill-up the form.
The candidate needs to fill up the online application correctly.
The candidate must provide the required personal & academic details along with uploading the softcopies of the documents
The candidate must upload a passport-sized photograph, the candidate’s signature, valid certificates, mark sheets and more.
After filling up the form correctly, the candidate needs to pay the application fee of INR 600/- (INR 300/- for the SC/ST category). The PwD candidates do not require to pay the application fee.
The application fee must be paid online through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking
Candidates can opt for a maximum of two subjects in the BEd course.

Free Studentship: The students coming from the family with annual income less than INR 3 LPA. The student should have scored 50% marks for science and 45% marks for other streams.
