Central University of Gujarat Ph.D. Admission Guidelines

  • The admission is done on the basis of a two-tier system (Written test and interview), prescribed by the UGC.
  • A weightage of 70% will be given to the entrance test and 30% to the performance of the interview.
  • In the interview, the candidates have to discuss research interests or areas before a duly constituted selection committee.

  • Select the exam centre online as the examination will take place online only.
  • Pay the application fee online through net-banking/ UPI/ debit-credit card

  • After the merit list is released by the university, the selected candidates need to visit the University with prescribed documents for counseling.
  • The final list of selected students will be released by the University based on the counseling 
  • The applicants will be called upon for the admission and verification of documents.
