DDU offers B.Tech courses under a number of specializations. The program is offered in full time regular mode for 4 years.

Eligibility Criteria

• For B.Tech program, Students shall meet minimum standards for admission as prescribed by the University.
• Candidate must have passed the H.S.C. examination conducted by the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board in science stream or any other examination from a recognized board.
• The candidate should have also appeared for the entrance examination conducted by the University.
• Applications received will be scrutinized to check for eligibility, following which candidates who fulfill the criteria will be intimated about further details.

Selection Criteria

• The university conducts an entrance examination GUJCET/ for B.Tech. Course, which includes subject matter taught at the +2 level.
• The merit list is released based on performance in this test as well as analysis of past academic performance.

Cut off marks may be predetermined.

Application Process for B.Tech program

In order to complete the admission procedure, candidates must abide by the following :

• Register yourself for the GUJCET exam.
• Fill all the required personal and academic details.
• Enter the personal, academic details and upload Scanned Images of Candidate’s Signature and Photograph.
• On completion of the entrance examination, a merit list is released, offering a one-time option for admission to the high merit students.
• Candidates must be physically present for the counseling and admission on the date stipulated by the university, failing which the seat will be offered to the next highest merit on the list.
• All required documents must be produced for verification to ensure eligibility of the candidate.
• Once the desired branch is allotted, candidate must freeze the option and pay the acceptance fee.

DDU offers M.Tech in various disciplines in full time, regular mode for two years:

Eligibility Criteria

• The minimum eligibility criteria for M.Tech program is BE/ B.Tech Degree with minimum of 55% in the relevant discipline is required. GATE score is compulsory to secure admission in M.Tech program.
• An internship at least nine months must have been completed at the time of applying.
• Merit list for admission will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the GATE entrance examination.

Selection Criteria

• The candidate will be shortlisted based on the candidate GATE entrance score and the seat of the M.Tech program will be filled.
• The candidates who have qualified the entrance examination will be then called for the admission process in campus.
• The shortlisted candidates will also be called upon for document verification at the time of the selection process.

Application Process for M.Tech program

• Register for the exam through Online Application form.
• Enter the login details for creating ID and password.
• Enter personal information.
• Upload scanned photograph, signature and other documents like eligibility certificate, category certificate (SC/ST/PwD).
• Enter the GATE paper (subject) and selection of examination cities.
• Pay the application fee and submit it.
• After submission, check the Status of the application form and retain the hard copy of it.
• On completion of the entrance examination, a merit list is released, offering a one-time option for admission to the high merit students.
• Candidates must be physically present for the admission and counseling on the date stipulated by the university, failing which the seat will be offered to the next highest merit on the list.
• All required documents must be produced for verification to confirm eligibility of the candidate.
• The candidate must pay the desired fee amount in full for admission to be considered successful after the branch is alloted.

DDU offers postgraduate courses in Master of Business Administration (MBA), in full time regular mode for 2 years.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed graduation from a recognized university with min 50% aggregate
• Candidates must have scored in G-CET conducted by the University

Selection Criteria

• Admission is done on the basis of performance in entrance test.
• The shortlisted candidates are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

DDU offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in full time regular mode for 2 years.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with Mathematics at Intermediate (10+2) level.
• Should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at graduation level.

It is an undergraduate course of 4 years which focuses on dental health and hygiene. If a candidate chooses for an optional internship, then the duration will increase to 5 years. The course is recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI).

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates have to pass 10+2 or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent.
• Candidate requires minimum of 50% Aggregate marks in PCB/Biotech combined.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC must have secured 40% and PwD candidates must have secured 45% in their qualifying exam.
• The admissions are taken by conducting entrance tests. The candidates with their senior secondary examination results awaited are welcomed to apply for this course.

MDS is a full time degree of two years for student who has graduated in Dental Science. It is offered in various specializations.

Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible for this course, candidates must have passed BDS degree with an aggregate of 55% from a dental college recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI)
• They must have completed an internship for BDS.
• Candidates must have obtained merit ranks in Merit in the NEET PG , NIMS Entrance Exam, AIIMS PG Entrance Exam.
• Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50th percentile (40th percentile for SC/ ST/ OBC and 45th percentile for PWD)

Selection Criteria

• The selection process consists of a written test organised by the University in the month of March, alongside analysis of past academic performance.
• Shortlisted candidates have to register for counselling.

Medical Council of India has granted permission to start new Medical College with annual intake capacity of 150 MBBS students from the academic year 2021.

Eligibility Criteria

• To get admission in MBBS course, candidate should have a minimum of 50% in 10+2 from a recognized board.
• They must have studied with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English as the main subjects for their qualifying examination.
• Students belonging from the reserved category should have scored a minimum percentage of 40%.
• The candidates also need to appear for NEET exam.
• The candidate must have completed 17 years of ag before applying for MBBS.

Selection Criteria

• The candidate needs to appear and obtain score in NEET entrance exam. The institute does not give direct admissions to the candidates.
• Candidates who will qualify the NEET will be eligible to apply for counselling. 
• Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50th percentile (40th percentile for SC/ ST/ OBC and 45th percentile for PWD)

MBBS: Admission Process

To get admission in MBBS, you need to follow the mentioned below steps:

1. First, you need to appear for the entrance exams.
2. Qualify entrance with a good score, so that you can rank in the merit list.
3. The selected candidates will be invited for the counselling session based on the student’s rank.
4. You need to select the college of your choice from the colleges offered to you based on the rank you hold.
5. Then at the time of counselling you need to present the documents they have asked for.

DDU offers full time Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) at undergraduate level which is completed in 4 years. Candidates willing to be admitted to these program must meet the minimum eligibility criteria specified for the program.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates willing to get admitted to 4 year Full-time B.Pharm Program should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
• Students having a Diploma in Pharmacy can also opt for this course.​

Selection Process

Students are selected on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Under the PG domain, the institute offers Master of Pharmacy with various specializations in full time regular mode. The duration of this course is 2 years.

Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible for this course, candidates must have completed B.Pharma from any institute approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
• The candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate and 45% by reserved categories.
• Candidates have to appear for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).

Selection Process

• Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained in graduation and scores obtained in GPAT.
• The candidates are shortlisted and will have to appear for counseling and personal interview.

The institute offers diploma in chemical engineering in full time regular mode.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 in Science stream from a recognized board. 

Selection Process

• The candidate is selected on the basis of merit list which is followed by an interview.

Candidates who wish to pursue their Ph.D. in Engineering, Applied Sciences or Pharmacy from DDU must apply when the notification is released, in the month of June, and submit before the last date, which is in the last week of June. After analysis of the applications, eligible candidates will be notified about further selection processes.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must fulfill the following criteria to be deemed eligible by the university.
• Candidates should have passed their UG degree from a relevant branch from any recognized university.
• Candidates should have passed a two year Master’s programme from a UGC or AICTE recognized institution, in a subject relevant to the Ph.D. applied for.
• A clear Research Purpose must be submitted alongside the application form, failing which the application will not be considered.
• Candidates cannot be registered as a Ph.D. or Post graduate student anywhere else during the course of the programme.

Selection Criteria

• The selection process includes a written test conducted by the university, as well as other components which will be dealt with through the application form.
• Written test is organized in the month of July, which consists of a 150 mark paper that is divided into two sections, one of which is common to all, and the other which is subject specific. The total duration of the examination is three and a half hours, with a half an hour break given between sections.
• Analysis of past academic performance, analysis of research abstract, research affinity and aptitude may also contribute to the final merit list.
