Applicants should have passed at least 08 papers or 16 Courses Or 16 courses accruing 48 credits in English Principal/Major (English Lit.) other than Found./Comp./Gen./Addl/MIL Or equivalent English during the BA Degree Programme. And/Or Applicants should have secured 48 credits in English mentioned in (b) above.

Applicants accruing 12 credits in English Principal/Major (English Lit.) should have secured 55% marks (50% for reserved And Eligible candidates will have to pass with at least 50% marks/equiv. grades in the written And oral entrance tests, to be administered by the Department.
