Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Admissions 2023: UG, PG, Courses, Eligibility, Application Process, Dates

The university offers the MBBS degree at the Undergraduate level for a duration of five and a half years. The candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the year of admission to the MBBS course.

Admission to the MBBS course is through NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The university also offers courses in the field of Dental Science at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. The duration of BDS programme is four years and the MDS programme takes three years to complete its duration.

For admission to the BDS programme, aspirants need to sit for NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Admission to the MDS programme is done on the basis of merit in the pre-qualifying examination.

At postgraduate level, the university offers Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) in multiple specializations. The duration period for each of the specializations is three years. The total number of seats available depends upon the nature of specializations.

Eligible candidates will have to appear in NEET PG conducted by the National Board of Education (NBE). However, in order to meet the eligibility criteria candidates must hold Graduate Degree in MBBS from any recognized university.

List of MD and MS courses:

The university also offers UG and PG level courses in the field of Physiotherapy for the willing candidates. The BPT programme is of four years whereas the MPT programme takes two years to complete its duration.

Admission to the BPT programme shall be made on the basis of common merit list prepared separately for each category of seat, out of all the applicants on the basis of marks secured in AICET/ Qualifying examination. However, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria in order to seek admission.

List of Physiotherapy courses

The university also offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme in the field of Health Care for the aspiring candidates. The MBA program is of a period of two years.

Admission to the MBA course is done through AIPGACET exam. Candidate who have MBBS/ BDS/ BPT/ BAMS/ BHMS or any other degree recognized by university are eligible for AIPGACET . Those candidates holding valid CAT/MAT/XAT/SNAP or any other recognized score are exempted from this entrance exam

Candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Nursing can opt for Nursing courses offered by the university. At undergraduate level, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and Post Basic B.Sc are offered for four years and two years respectively. The university also offers Master of Science (M.Sc) and M.Sc in Nursing with a number of specializations. The duration period for M.Sc and M.Sc Nursing is 3.5 years and 2 years respectively.

Admission in Nursing, in both UG and PG courses, is done on the basis of marks scored in pre-qualifying examination. Admission to the B.Sc. (N) and M.Sc. (N) courses shall be made on the basis of common merit list prepared separately for each category of seat, out of all the applicants on the basis of marks secured in AICET/ Qualifying examination. List of B.Sc., M.Sc. and Diploma courses:

The university also offers super speciality courses like Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch) for a duration of three years. The number of seats depends upon the nature of specializations.

Candidates are selected on the basis of marks scored in last qualifying examination. The eligible candidates are then required to appear in personal interview conducted by the college. However, candidates must have studied and passed postgraduate course in relevant discipline.

List of Super Speciality courses:

The university offers a number of courses in the domain of Pharmacy at UG and PG level. The B.Pharm programme is of four years whereas the duration period of the M.Pharm and Pharm.D courses are of two years. The university also offers 5-years integrated Pharm.D programme.

Admission for B.Pharm / Pharm D. courses shall be made on the basis of common merit list prepared separately for each category of seat, out of all the applicants on the basis of marks secured in AICET/ Qualifying examination. In addition, the student seeking admission shall also have to meet other eligibility criteria given by respective statutory bodies.

List of Pharmacy courses:

The university offers a number of Doctoral courses under multiple specializations. It also provides part-time Ph.D. courses for the employed candidates who aspire for research oriented programmes. The duration period of the full-time Ph.D. programme is 3 to 6 years and the part-time Ph.D. programme is of 4 to 6 years.
