O.P. Jindal Global University, popularly known as JGU or just OP Jindal, is ranked among the Top 3% and among the Top 450 in the QS Asia league table. OP Jindal admissions for the year 2023 are open. The university is inviting applications across its 12 schools for their flagship Law and Management degree programs. Admission to BA (Hons.), BBA (Hons.), B.Com (Hons.), B.Des., MBA, and integrated BBA – MBA is done on the basis of scores obtained in JSAT/SAT/ACT/ JEE-2/ NATA/ NIFT/ NID/ UCEED PART A. The online admission process for JGU’s MBA program for the academic year 2023 is open. The admission process for MBA consists of 3 rounds: Application Assessment, Faculty Interview, and Declaration of interview results. Candidates with professional experience are given preference. The selection process of B. Com (Hons.)/B.A.(Hons.) Finance and Entrepreneurship/ B.Com in Capital Market(NSE) evaluate the candidate based on a personal statement, supplementary questions, 10+2 scores, Faculty Interview, and JSAT/SAT/ACT/UGAT/LSAT-India score. Selected applicants are required to pay the Refundable Registration Fee of INR. 50,000 to secure their seat.

For admission in B.A/BBA LL.B (Hons.) and BCom LLB (Hons.) courses of the university, the candidate’s eligibility will be judged on the scores obtained in the LSAT- India 2023, which is to be administered twice (Jan and May 2023). LSAT- India 2023 exam scores are also accepted for admission to the 3-year BA Legal Studies, LLB 3-year, and LLM 1-year programs. However, candidates who have not appeared for the same are required to take the Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test (JSAT) conducted by Pearson VUE, JGU to be eligible for admission to O.P. Jindal Global University. Enrollment in the 3-year B.A. (Hons.) Legal Studies, 3-year LL.B., and 1-year LL.M. program require JSAT scores of the applicant. The application fee for LLM, LLB, and Ph.D. programs is INR 1000. However, programs offered at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture require an application fee of INR 3000.

Given below are the steps to apply for admission to JGU:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the college and register.

Step 2: Fill out the registration form by providing a username and password.

Step 3: Upload a recent passport-size photograph.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 3,000 (INR 1,000 for LL.B, LL.M, MBA, MA) by Debit/ Credit Card/ Demand Draft in favor of O.P. Jindal Global University, payable at Sonepat.

Step 5: Submit the duly filled form and take a printout of the same.

Note: Candidates can obtain an application form from the admission office of the university and can pay the application fee through the DD.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates applying for B.A. in Liberal Arts and Humanities must write a 1,000-word Personal Statement explaining why they want to study at JGU.
• Candidates applying for Integrated Law courses must not be more than 22 years.
• For the LL.M program, 70% weightage will be given to the score on the entrance test followed by a Statement of Purpose and Telephonic Interview (30% weightage).
• The following cut-off scores are accepted by the university:
  • CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA: 50 Percentile
  • GRE: 290+
  • GMAT: 400+
  • NMAT: 160+
• Candidates applying for Ph.D. are required to submit a Statement of Purpose of 1,500 words explaining why they want to pursue a Ph.D. in JGU.
