Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Electronics and Communication Engineering) From HPTU, Hamirpur

Recognized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field obtaining at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

The admission to M. Tech degree courses shall be made based on merit of a Valid GATE / HPCET Score

With all of the above mentioned courses, HPTU also offers M.Tech with five different  specializations along with M.Pharm. under three specialization subjects. The duration of all the specialized M.Tech courses and M.Pharm. courses is 2 years.

The minimum eligibility for M.Tech. is a pass in B.E. or B.Tech. with min. 50% marks in the qualifying exam whereas, for M.Pharm., the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks.

M.Tech admission

• The admission to M.Tech degree courses shall be made on the basis of merit of valid GATE score.
• In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of GATE, the vacant seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of HPCET
• In case the seats remain vacant after the exhausting the merit of National Level Test and HPCET, the remaining seats shall be filled up on the basis of merit of B.E./B.Tech degree awarded by a recognised University.

M.Pharm admission

• The admission to M.Pharm. degree courses shall be made on the basis of merit of Valid GPAT score.
• In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of GPAT, the vacant seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of HPCET.
• In case the seats remain vacant after the exhausting the merit of National Level Test and HPCET, the remaining seats shall be filled up on the basis of merit of B.Pharm. degree awarded by a recognised University.
• 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST/BPL category.
