On what criteria college provides scholarships?

College basically provides scholarships to the meritorious students. This is done in order to create an environment of healthy competition among the students. College also offers some fee concession to the students from economically weaker backgrounds.

Can the course fee be paid in installments per year?

The University has provided an option to pay the fee for every year during its beginning as per college fee structure.

Does the college provide Hostel facilities to their students?

Yes, Hostel facilities have been provided for boys and girls. It provides students with delicious food and provides options too.

What will be asked in CUET Entrance exams for LLM?

Common entrance conducted for students interested in law will have questions on general English, general knowledge and constitution and jurisdiction among other law-related subjects at UG level.

How much is the application fee for the CUET application?

The CUET application fee is as follows:General/ OBC category: INR 800SC/ ST category: INR 350PwD category: No charges

Is there any seat reservation policy at CUK?

Yes, seats are available for reserved categories for all the courses, 15% of seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for non-creamy layer OBC candidates.

What are the basic criteria to be eligible for the MPH program at CUK?

The candidates with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent in graduation (any discipline) are eligible to apply for the MPH program at CUK.

How are admissions done at CUK?

CUK admissions for both UG and PG programmes are based on scores in the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET). And admission to the Ph.D. program is based on a valid score in UGC NET followed by an Interview round conducted by the University.

How will I know that my application has reached the admission section?

It will be done through the Online Application, on the successful online application submission with fee payment through resources like Net-banking/Debit Card /Credit Card/UPI, an automated email and SMS will be sent to the e-mail ID & mobile number the candidate had given in the application form.

What are the eligibility criteria to apply for the BA programme?

The candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent to apply for the BA program at CUK.

Are scholarships offered to students at CUK?

Yes, the students are offered the scholarships, which are:Postgraduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for single girl child pursuing a PG level program offered by the University. A scholarship of INR 3,100 per month is given to such students.The Government of Kerala Scholarship to SC/ ST students for overseas studies.

Are vehicles allowed inside the campus after the admission?

The use of vehicles or parking of vehicles is prohibited inside the campus except for physically challenged students, who can use their carrier wheelchair with the permission of the registrar.Students are encouraged to use cycles or solar bikes. If not, they may park their vehicles near the entrance of the campus.

Are students provided a hostel facility at CUK? If yes, what is the timing of the visiting hours?

Yes, the college provides the hostel facility to its students. The visiting hour timing is 5 PM to 7 PM. The hostel gate closes at 8 PM, all the students are instructed to be inside the hostel till 8 PM.

Is hostel money refundable at CUK?

No, the hostel money is not refundable, if the money is delayed and not paid on time, then a fine of INR 50 is to be paid on a daily basis. However, an amount of INR 2000 as caution money will be given back to the students at the time of leaving the hostel which was taken at the starting of the session.

How to reach CUK Kasaragod?

Candidates can reach there by Bus, Rail, and Air. The nearest airport is Mangalore and Kozhikode which is 80 km and 210 km from the campus.

Does the CUK Kasaragod provide any financial assistance for students?

Yes, the university provides scholarships for meritorious students and students belonging to ST/SC category. There are also fellowships for OBC students

Is there any coaching program available for civil service exams at CUK Kasaragod?

Yes, there is UGC NET and civil service exam coaching for SC, ST, and minorities

Does the CUK Kasaragod follow the Anti-Ragging Policy for all the students?

Yes, the college has a strict policy for Anti-Ragging and has a separate cell for Anti-Ragging.

When does the CUK Kasaragod start its application process and the classes?

The new session begins every year in the month of August followed by the application process in the month of June and July. Due to Pandemic Covid-19, the University is commencing its classes from the month of September.
