You should apply for KEAM online and send a printout filled application form to the CEE before January 30, 2016. There are seven steps for online submission application. You should complete all steps and send a printout filled application form with necessary documents to CEE, Kerala on or before last date of form submission.

Step 1 Candidate Registration: This is a one time process. You should fill all required details and click on submit button and after submission, an application number will be generated by system.

Step 2 Candidate Login: With the help of Application no and password You can login and complete all other steps.

Step 3 Fill Application Form: Fill all basic details and you should click the ‘Save’ button to save the entries made so far before proceeding to Step 4.

Step 4 Final Submission of Application Form: This is also a one time process. If you are sure that the information provided in step 3 is correct, click the link ‘Final Submission’. No correction of the application will be possible after final Submission of application in step 4.

Step 5 Payment of Application Fee: You can pay application fee through two following methods

• Through Security Card: You can obtain security card from selected post offices in Kerala and other states, on payment of prescribed fee by cash. Security card is free of cost for ST candidates.
• Through Demond Draft: You can pay application fee through Demand Draft (DD) drawn on a Nationalised/Scheduled Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

Application Fee:

• For General Candidates: INR 1000/-
• For SC Candidates: INR 500/-
• For ST Candidates: No Application fee

Step 6 Printout of Application Form: You should take a printout of the online submitted application.

Step 7 Send the printout of Application: Affix a photograph of the applicant with 3.5 x 4.5 cm size same as the photograph uploaded on the online application duly attested by the Head of the Institution which you studied last or by a Gazetted Officer. You should affix the left hand thumb impression in the space provided in the printout of the application. The applicant and parent should sign in the specified areas on the printout of the application and attach supporting documents/certificates and send to following address:

You will be required to produce all the original documents during the time of admission, failing which can result in the forfeiture of admission in the university.

In Case of Foreign Students:

The Foreign students should apply through their respective embassy/mission. The Ministry of Education would henceforth arrange for the admission through ICAR.  It is mandatory for the student’s VISA to be approved by the Government of India for a student VISA and not a tourist VISA. The eligibility certificate issued by the University will be send to the Ministry of Home Affairs to convert the tourist visa into a student’s visa.

In Case of Out of State Students:
If you seek to apply from another state than Kerala, you should apply to ICAR, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi through your respective state government. In Union Territories of Andaman/Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands, seats are reserved for ethnic natives of those states. No restrictions will be imposed on the students apart from the ones prescribed with regards to the qualifying examination and percentage and other general requirements.

Note: If you belong to another state or you are a foreign resident, you need to pay a caution fees of Rs. 2400/- at the time of the admission which will be refundable.

The candidates should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission.

Aspirants seeking admission to 4 Years Full-Time BE / B.Tech Program must fulfill the following criteria:

• You should have qualified your 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• The candidates applying for this programme should ensure the completion of their qualifying examinations before the last date of the submission of the online application to the course.   

Age Limit: You should have completed 17 years of age before the last date for the submission of the online application

1. Selection of candidates will be on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained at the qualifying examination at the higher secondary level or equivalent.
2. If there is a tie of marks, those having higher marks in the relevant subject in the qualifying examination will be preferred.
3. If the tie still persists, the elder person will be preferred.
