The course requires students to participate in practical fieldwork during their final year, working directly with farmers in villages to create detailed reports that are evaluated as part of their academic performance. Students also have the opportunity to gain practical experience through a 6-month RAWE internship. For their education, students pay a semester fee of ?27,000, totaling ?54,000 annually, plus an additional semester exam fee of ?2,500.
There are placement opportunities with small agriculture companies, offering stipends up to ?20,000. Scholarships are available to support SC, ST, and OBC category students.
