LNIPE Gwalior Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Selection Process

LNIPE offers B.P.Ed at the undergraduate level with a duration of 4 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into B.P.Ed is 10+2 and candidates are selected on the basis of merit in an entrance examination.

LNIPE UG Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) or Intermediate/equivalent examination from any recognized Education Board/University, etc. with at least 50% marks for General and OBC categories. 45% marks for SC/ ST category and also for candidates who have participated in International/ National/ Inter-University/ School Nationals Games (SGFI) in Sports Competitions or position holders of Inter-Zonal University Games/ Sports
• The maximum age of the candidate shall be 21 years which shall be further relaxable up to 3 years for OBC Candidates and 5 years for SC, ST Candidates as per the rules of the Government of India

LNIPE UG Selection Criteria:

Admission into the B.P.Ed at LNIPE is done based on merit, on the basis of Marks (Merit) obtained in the Entrance Test as per the policy of the Institute.

LNIPE offers MA and M.P.Ed at the postgraduate level in the field of Physical Education with a duration of 2 years. Admission to such courses, candidates must have passed Graduation, and selection to these courses is entrance-based. LNIPE offers PG courses with specializations that are tabulated below:

LNIPE PG Eligibility Criteria:

The reservation of seats and/or relaxation in qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rule of the Government of India. Following are the eligibility for different PG courses offered by LNIPE:

LNIPE PG Selection Criteria:

Admission into the M.A/ M.P.Ed at LNIPE is done based on merit, on the basis of Marks (Merit) obtained in the Entrance Test as per the policy of the Institute.

LNIPE offers a Diploma in Sports Coaching with a duration of 1 year. The basic eligibility for getting admission into such courses is 10+2 & selection to these courses is based on an entrance examination. 

LNIPE Diploma Eligibility Criteria:

• A candidate shall be eligible to appear in Entrance Test for Diploma in Sports Coaching if he has passed 10+2 examination/equivalent examination conducted by CBSE/ State or UT Board/ Open School Board 
• The candidate must be deputed to the course by Defense/ Army Sports Control Board and para-military services

LNIPE Diploma Selection Criteria:

Admission into the Diploma courses at LNIPE is done based on merit, on the basis of Marks (Merit) obtained in the Entrance Test as per the policy of the Institute.

LNIPE offers PG Diploma with 3 specializations with a duration of 1 year. The basic eligibility for getting admission into such courses is Graduation & selection to these courses is based on an entrance examination. LNIPE offers PG Diploma courses with various specializations are tabulated below:

LNIPE PG Diploma Eligibility Criteria:

Sports Coaching:

• A candidate shall be eligible to appear in Entrance Test for Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching, if he/she has passed graduation degree, conducted by a recognized University, with at least 45% marks [40% in case of SC/ST candidates and Kashmiri Migrants & Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmir valley] with Inter-University/ National-level participation in the concerned game/ sport

OR,

•  Bachelor‟s degree from a recognized university with participation in international competition or secured 1st, 2nd & 3rd position in National/ Inter-University competition in sports and games as approved and funded by respective AIU/ IOA/ MYAS

Fitness Management:

Bachelor Degree in any discipline recognized by the University/Institute or equivalent with 45% marks [40% for SC/ST candidate and Kashmiri Migrants & Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmir valley]

Yoga Education:

The aspirants should have obtained a minimum of 45% [40% for SC/ ST and Kashmiri Migrants & Kashmiri Pandit/ Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) living in Kashmir valley] Marks in Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute

LNIPE PG Diploma Selection Criteria:

Admission into the PG Diploma courses at LNIPE is done based on merit, on the basis of Marks (Merit) obtained in the Entrance Test as per the policy of the Institute.

LNIPE offers Ph.D. at the research level in the field of Physical Education etc with a duration of 3-6 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into the Ph.D. program is Post Graduation. Selection to the Ph.D. program at LNIPE is based on merit in an entrance examination followed by an interview. LNIPE offers the Ph.D. programs in various specializations are tabulated below:

LNIPE Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must have passed Master Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) or its equivalent degree from recognized University/ Institute in India or abroad with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade for getting admission to the Ph.D. program at LNIPE.

LNIPE Ph.D. Selection Criteria:

Admission to the Ph.D. program at LNIPE is based on merit secured in RET followed by an interview/ viva-voce conducted by the college or through direct admission as per the Ordinance.
