The Oriental University was established in 1995 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It offers a total of 56 courses across the 10 streams namely Engineering, Pharmacy, Mass Communication, Arts, and Media.

Under the course offerings, Oriental University offers 6 courses of B.tech with various specialization, 5 courses in masters i.e the M.tech category and 7 courses in Diploma Engineering. The admission criteria for undergraduate technical courses are through the national level test JEE with minimum marks in 12th standard. And for the other courses, the admission is granted based on other national eligibility exams such as GATE, or the 12th standard marks itself.

Under the wing of professional courses, the institute also offers an MBA under 6 specializations for a duration of two years. Admission to the program is granted on the basis of an entrance exam.

Aside from the professional disciplines, the institute also offers various UG and PG courses. Admission to both the programs is done on the basis of merit.

B.Tech.- The basic eligibility for the students seeking admission to the B.Tech course includes passing 10+2 exam with Physics, Maths, Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Vocational Sciences through a recognized board or university with a minimum of 45% marks. for the B.tech admissions, the students also need to appear for the JEE (national eligibility exam) to qualify the minimum criteria along with 10+2.

B.Pharm.- 12th (PCM / Biotechnology/Biology/Vocational Science) with 45% (Gen) & 40% for SC/ST/OBC.

Selection Criteria

Candidates are selected based on different exams conducted all over India. JEE mains and NEET are 2 major exams that are conducted across India after the 10+2.
