At undergraduate level, Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth offers B.Tech programme specializing in the field of Agriculture to the aspiring students. The duration period for the B.Tech programme is four years.

In order to seek admission to the B.Tech programme, candidates need to pass 10+2 from

Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

Admission to the B.Tech programme is done on the basis of marks obtained in the last qualifying examination.

• 15% of the total seats shall be reserved to be filled in from all India basis through Common Entrance Examination to be conducted by ICAR, New Delhi (It includes 10% seats over and above the sanctioned intake capacity). A general merit list will be prepared based on merit of the candidates in the common entrance examination.

At undergraduate level, Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth offers courses in the fields of Agriculture, Forestry, Food Technology etc., with a number of specialization subjects. All of these specialization courses are offered with the duration of four years.

In order to get admission to the UG courses, candidates need to pass in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Admission to the UG courses are done on the basis of Merit in the pre-qualifying examination.

• 15% of the total seats for all U.G. Courses shall be reserved to be filled in from all India basis through Common Entrance Examination to be conducted by ICAR, New Delhi (It includes 10% seats over and above the sanctioned intake capacity)
• One seat in each of the below mentioned undergraduate degree courses is reserved for the wards of displaced citizens and wards of Officers/Staff advt of Military and Paramilitary Forces/ All India services posted to combat terrorists activities in Jammu and Kashmir State

List of UG courses:

At postgraduate level, PDKV offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in the field of Agriculture, Farm Technology, Renewable Energy Sources etc., to the aspiring candidates. The duration of the M. Tech. course is two years for regular students.

To get admission in the M.Tech programme, candidates need to hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from any recognized institute.

Admission to the M.Tech programme is done through Common Entrance Test (CET) which is  conducted by the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB), Pune. In order to get admission candidates need to sit for the CET and pass the examination with minimum 5.5 CGPA.

• 25 % seats shall be filled in all India basis through Common Entrance Examination to be conducted by I.C.A.R., New Delhi (It includes 10% seats over and above the sanctioned intake capacity)

• However, if among the above seats are found to be vacant then those shall be filled in at College / Institute level immediately after Centralised Admission Process and from the state merit list

List of M.Tech courses:

At the postgraduate level, Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth offers Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Masters in Business and Management (MBM) degrees focusing on diversified specializations under Agricultural Sciences. The duration period for all the specialization program is two years.

Admission to the Postgraduate program is strictly based on merit in the Common Entrance Test (CET) of respective faculty for the current year conducted by Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) and CGPA of the qualifying degree examination.

• Admission to all Postgraduate courses shall be on the basis of 70% of Marks obtained in Common Entrance Test conducted by Maharashtra Agriculture University Examination Board (MAUEB) and 30% marks of CGPA in graduation and weightages if any.

• 25 % seats for all Postgraduate Courses shall be filled in all India basis through Common Entrance Examination to be conducted by I.C.A.R., New Delhi (It includes 10% seats over and above the sanctioned intake capacity)

• However, the vacant seats after consideration of the waiting list of ICAR, New Delhi, shall be filled in by the respective University after issuing state level advertisement by adopting the existing rules and regulations being used for the admission process
• After deducting seats to be reserved for ICAR & OS quota, the -- First 50% seats will be kept open for all the students of the State (‘M’ quota) and -- After 50% seats of the admission capacity will be filled in from amongst the students who have passed the qualifying examination from the institution situated in the University area (‘U’ quota)

List of PG courses:

At the doctoral level, the college offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree specializing in the fields of Farm Technologies and Agricultural Sciences to the research aspirant candidates. The Ph.D program are offered under a cluster of specialization subjects. The maximum duration period for the Ph.D program is three years.

Admission to the Ph. D. program are strictly on the basis of merit in the concerned subject in the Ph.D. Common Entrance Test (CET) of respective faculty for the current year conducted by Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) and CGPA of the qualifying postgraduate degree examination.

• Admission to all Ph.D. courses shall be on the basis of merit formulated by considering weightage of 70 per cent of the CET score and 30 per cent of the CGPA of the student

List of Ph.D. courses:
