Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, previously known as Marathwada Agricultural University (MAU), is one of the first few agricultural universities in Maharashtra. The university has a dedicated placement cell for the provision of jobs and internships to the students. The university also provides a semester of Rural Awareness Works Experience Scheme (RAWE) for students currently studying in the agricultural sciences UG course with a stipend of INR 1000 approx. Established over 48 years ago, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth provides the facilities mentioned below at the university campus.
- Hostel: The campus has separate boys’ and girls’ hostels that are situated on the campus. The rooms in the hostel are affordable.
- Sports facilities: The university campus has a lot of state-of-art sports facilities including gymnasium, running track, badminton court, basketball court, etc. The university organizes a lot of sports events across different colleges and at the university level.
