Aspirants seeking admission to 3 years Full-time Ph.D. Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
a)Any graduate in any faculty of a statutory University or of any other institution recognized by the UGC is eligible for admission to the first year of M.A. Program.
b) A Foreign student can be admitted only as a 'Regular Student' to the M.A. Program after the completion of all technical necessities. (such as 'Visa', 'Medical Certificate', 'Passport', 'Police Registration Papers' and other essential technicalities)
c) A citizen of age of 55 years and above with post graduate degree with 50% marks, in exceptional cases will be eligible at the discretion of Vidyapeeth’s Board of Management.
d) Applicants for inter – disciplinary areas in which the research is proposed to be done shall be considered on the basis of sufficient work experience, proven ability and aptitude for research of the candidate. Such proposal shall be examined by the RRC. The candidate for entrance exam will be confirmed only after the Research and Recognition Committee’s approval.
e) In case of international candidates who have not obtained Master’s degree from Indian Universities, the decision regarding admission will be taken by RRC. on the basis of the criteria as mentioned above.

g) As per the provision in Ordinance No. 116 of UGC. Guidelines, registered candidates shall not be allowed to register simultaneously for any other degree course.
Admission Procedure:-
Entrance Examination: Student must clear Ph.D. Entrance Test to get admission for Ph.D. Course. (Followed by Personal Interview)
Note: Admission of students for M.Phil/Ph.D. Course shall be granted according to the provisions of reservation policy (for SC/ST/DT/NT/OBC and others) declared by the Government.
