Mizoram University B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 

• For B.Tech, Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination (or equivalent) from any recognized board with a minimum aggregate score of 50% marks (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST candidates) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• For B.Tech lateral entry, The candidate must hold a three year diploma in engineering in the relevant branch by securing at least 60% marks (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST candidates).

Mizoram University B.Tech Selection Process 

Candidates shall be selected on the basis of JEE merit or Mizoram University Entrance Examination (MZU EEE) merit.

50% seats shall be filled through JEE and the rest 50% shall be filled through University Entrance Examination (MZU EEE) results.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination (or equivalent) from any recognized board by securing at least 50% aggregate marks with mathematics.

Selection Process 

Aspirants need to appear for NATA or JEE Mains Paper 2. They need to apply through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

Mizoram University B.Ed. Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities with at least 50% marks OR
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% marks.

Selection Process 

Selection is done on the basis of marks scored in the Entrance test.

Mizoram University M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have passed B.Tech/ M.Sc. / B.E. in the relevant branch from any recognized institute or university with at least 55% marks (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST candidates).

Mizoram University M.Tech Selection Process 

• The admission to this course shall be based on GATE Score or Mizoram University Master of Technology Entrance Examination (MZU-MTEE).
• The next round shall be the personal interview round. Each department will have a separate admission committee.

Eligibility Criteria 

The aspirant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. (45% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC)

Mizoram University MBA Selection Process 

• Candidates need to appear for the entrance exam MAT/ CAT/ XAT/ CMAT.
• Next, the group discussion and personal interview round shall be conducted in order of merit.
• The candidates need to apply to the University the form for which can either be collected from the Department of Management or can be filled directly from AIMA, New Delhi (www.aima.ind.org).

• Admission to Tourism & Hospitality Management will be on the basis of a process of 200 points in which 100 points shall be allotted based on the entrance test performance conducted by the department. The remaining 100 points shall be based on the Interview and Group Discussion performance.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, the candidates must have scored 60% marks in Master’s degree in the concerned subject.

Mizoram University Ph.D. and M.Phil Selection Process

• Candidates shall be selected on the basis of merit by giving suitable weight age to the following parameters:

2. Percentage in Master’s degree (50%)
3. Performance in test/ interview

Mizoram University offers BA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc programs at the UG level for a duration of 3 years. The minimum eligibility requires 10+2 or HSSLC passed with 50% marks for the General category. Admission will be granted on the basis of marks obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).

Mizoram University UG Selection Criteria

Candidates applying for UG courses at Mizoram University must clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The final selection will be based on the CUET merit list released by the university. 

CUET consists of three sections-

• Section I – this section is further divided into Section IA and Section IB. candidates will have to select any one language from a set of 13 different languages in Section IA while one language from a set of 20 languages has to be selected from Section IB.
• Section II – Section II is a domain-specific section wherein candidates will have to select a maximum of 6 domains from a list of 27 domains. Candidates should choose the domains after careful consideration as these will be the deciding factor for the choice of their university.
• Section III - It is a general test where candidates will be tested on the basis of basic general questions such as General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical and Analytical Reasoning

Candidates interested to apply for the UG courses at Mizoram University (MU) must follow the below mentioned steps in order to apply for CUET:

• Register by visiting the official website @cuet.samarth.ac.in.
• Provide a valid mobile number & email ID to generate a password and unique Application ID
• Select the University as "Mizoram University" to apply to this University

• Upload scanned photograph & signature of the candidate
• Pay the Application fees as provided in the brochure through online mode only.
