Undergraduate courses have direct admissions based on merit. Postgraduate courses are based on merit and results of the CPET.
How to Apply?
- The application forms are available online on the university website.
- Applicants are required to fill all the entries in the online application form.
- The applicants have to pay the Application Fee at the time of registration (INR 500).
- After submission, the form has to be printed out, which will be submitted at the time of admissions.
- Candidates who want to apply for more than one UG course are required to apply separately.
- Interested applicants have to fill out the forms for the entrance test.
- Common subject-wise rank lists will be prepared once the results are out.
- Admission processes will then be done by the university.

- National Scholarship: National scholarships are awarded to poor and meritorious students whose parent's annual income is less than INR 6,000 annually will only be eligible.

- Hostels: Ravenshaw University provides residential facilities for both boys and girls. The campus has seven boys’ and six girls’ hostels, which can accommodate about 3500 students. Admission in the hostels shall be made strictly based on the Department wise merit list in each program.
- Sports Complex: Ravenshaw University actively promotes sports and athletics. The campus has fields and facilities for several indoor and outdoor games including the following – cricket, lawn and table tennis, basketball, badminton, volleyball, football, chess, athletics, etc.
- Ravenshaw Knowledge Center (Kanika Library): The library provides services like Ravenshaw Knowledge Portal, Digital Library, On-line Reading Room, National Knowledge Network, and subscription to databases, online journals, and e-resources.

- The student-faculty ratio is 1:25. I have no idea about the qualification, but the teaching method is very good.
- Tech hub company where I was doing an internship and receiving a stipend for my work for 3 months. I developed a software development and gaming website to sell games online, which is my best project site.
- The companies like Deloitte, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, and TCS are prime recruiters offering a package of around 3-4 lakhs, which is great when you consider the amount you are investing.
- There are many good students who are very talented, but they belong to middle-class families. Despite this, they have high ambitions and are fortunate enough to receive government scholarships. Our college management also provides scholarships and education loans, along with study materials.
- We are the biggest library in Odisha, Kanika, and we have a good sports environment within our campus, with a gym and indoor gaming facilities.
- The hostel room was absolutely good, and the meal system was very good. The girls were also better.
- I completed my 10th with 89% with the SC caste, and +2 with 78%. Then Ravenshaw University is one of the best colleges in Odisha.
Dislike
- Our college provides lots of scholarship and loan facilities, especially to poor, disabled, and underprivileged students.
- The food provided in the college mess is pathetic, and students usually wish to avoid it and order food from restaurants.
- Gender ratios are almost the same because some departments consist of fewer boys and some have fewer girls.
Anyone passing the 12th board is eligible for admission. The application fee is 500 and the application date starts after the result of the 12th board there are all the reservation benefits as it is a government University. Students from all over the state come to take admission to the university as it is one of the best universities also from the British era it exists and the infrastructure of the teachers they are well behaved and manner. The course provided here is all the b.com,b.sc, ba and all the courses like professional courses and the 12th board also. The improvement in the admission process is that the authority should take charge of the admission and also the reservation should be limited up to certain numbers as the students with high percentages and talents suffer because the students who take admission in reservation should be limited. The students should be given proper facilities to take admission and all the necessary documents to be able to do ease.

Yes there are reservation benefits applicable for all types. All the admission are done on the basis of merit. Yes there is a great process of admission it should be done in a few steps

A student should complete the 12th for this course and the cutoff was around 75-80% in 2021. The application form is available on the official website of the university. The number of seats decreased and is 64 now.

The candidate must have done a bachelor's in zoology with a minimum of 55% of marks. All the information about Ravenshaw can be easily obtained from the Ravenshaw website. I don't belong to the reserved section. No admission process is going on right.

There were no exams for the admission process. All I had to do was apply as per the common admission process by filling up a form that was available offline. Reservation was available as per state govt guidelines.

The admission was done on the basis of class 12 marks but no entrance exams are conducted for admitting into BCom the application form application fee and application date are available on Ravenshaw's official website yes there is a lot of reservation facility for SC ST and OBC students.

Whatever percentage you get in your intermediate it doesn't matter(above 30% for sure). Eligibility is defined by how many candidates applied for admission and what's your position among them. Before my admission, the cut-off was about 51% and hereafter my completion one kid got 90% during the COVID batch and he didn't get a seat. It depends on how many have applied for the same year as you.
There was a block dedicated only to giving away the applications offline. You can find all the course details there. Or else you can go to the department to know more about the particular curriculum(not recommended though).
If you have some reservations like SC/ST/OBC then the chances are high(due to our education quota system). 30-40% of seats are reserved for this.
The admission process was very good, the candidate is allowed and it was a very easy process. There are also volunteers available to help you regarding any issue.
