Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Ludhiana is the oldest university in the field of Agricultural Education. It was established in 1962. It offers UG, PG and Ph.D. courses in different specializations. Application forms can be filled online or can be obtained in person or by post.
- PAU Ludhiana conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) followed by counselling to offer admission in B.Sc (Hons.) courses except for B.Sc (Architecture/ Fashion Designing).
- Candidates have to appear in the national level Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) to secure admission in B.Sc (Architecture) program.
- For B.Sc in Fashion Designing, the candidates have to appear in Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by NID.
- B.Tech and Integrated M.Sc admissions are also based on the score in CET except for B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering for which a valid score in JEE Main is mandatory.
- For M.Tech, MBA, MCA (Regular+Lateral), MJMC and M.Sc courses, PAU conducts MET followed by an interview.
- Ph.D. admission is based PAU Written Test and Interview. Although, ICAR qualified candidates are directly eligible for the interview round.

PAU Ludhiana B.Sc & B.Tech Admission 2023
PAU serves various undergraduate programs such as B.Sc and B.Tech in various specializations. Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc (Hons.) need to appear in CET conducted by PAU except for B.Sc in Architecture and Fashion Designing. For B.Sc in Architecture, the candidates have to appear in AAT conducted by IITs.
For B.Sc in Fashion Designing aspiring candidates have to attend DAT conducted by NID which is held specially to determine the design abilities of aspirants.

PAU Ludhiana PG Admission 2023: M.Tech, MBA. MCA, M.Sc & MJMC
At PG level, PAU offers M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc and MJMC in different disciplines. Apart from regular courses, the university also offers MCA (Lateral Entry) and Integrated M.Sc.
Admission is based on the score in MET conducted by PAU followed by an Interview. Admission to M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS is done on the basis of an interview round for the shortlisted candidates. CET qualified candidates are eligible to apply for Integrated M.Sc program.
