Banasthali University, Jaipur MCA Admission Process

Banasthali University, Jaipur admits candidates based on their performance in aptitude test and marks in last qualifying examinations. Candidates who appear for the aptitude test and qualify it with a valid score will only be considered eligible for admissions.

• Candidates admitted under Foreign Nationals & NRI/NRI Sponsored shall be exempted from appearing in the Banasthali University Aptitude Test.
• Such candidates are offered direct admissions based on their marks in graduation degree. However, such candidates must produce the required documents at the time of admission.
• Candidates who passed the last qualifying examinations from Banasthali University only with 50% (40% for SC/ST) aggregate marks are eligible to apply for the aptitude test.
• The university then prepares a merit list on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the aptitude test and percentage credit points awarded by the university.
• Shortlisted candidates need to deposit the required fee to confirm their seat in the MCA program.

Banasthali University, Jaipur MCA Entrance Exam

• Banasthali University conducts its own entrance test for admissions to the MCA program. The exam is designed to evaluate the aptitude skills of the candidates.
• The test comprises two sections, namely, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning.
• Each section consists of 50 questions and the duration of the test is 150 minutes.
• Candidates are required to attempt section A within the first 90 minutes and the rest time is given to attempt section B.
• For every correct answer, candidates are awarded 1 mark whereas for every wrong answer, 1/4 mark is deducted.

How to Apply?

Follow the steps below to apply for MCA at Banasthali University, Jaipur:

1. Visit the official website of the university.
2. Click on the ‘Admission 2022-23’. A new page will appear on the screen.
3. Scroll down and click on ‘Apply Now’ on the bottom right corner. Candidates will then be redirected to the Application Portal.
4. Fill the application form with personal and academic details.
5. Review the application form once and click on ‘Submit Now’.
6. Proceed to pay the application fee of INR 800 online and take a print out of the fee receipt along with the application form.
7. Candidates can also obtain the application form by paying the pre-application fee via Demand Draft in favor of ‘Banasthali Vidyapith’ payable at Banasthali/Jaipur to:
