Bachelor of Education [B.Ed] (Part Time) From VMOU, Kota

VMOU is inviting applications for Pre Teacher Education Test (PTET) 2024 for admission to the 2-year B.Ed program in Rajasthan. The last date to submit the PTET 2024 application form has been extended to April 30, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website @ptetvmou2024.com. VMOU PTET 2024 exam will be held on June 09, 2024.

VMOU B.Ed is a 2-year distance learning course at the PG level. The maximum duration to complete the course can be extended up to 5 years. The course is offered in more than 10 study centers of VMOU that are located in Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, and other cities of Rajasthan.

VMOU B.Ed Eligibility Criteria

Interested individuals must meet the following eligibility standards in order to be considered for admission to the VMOU B.Ed program:

• Candidates from India, as well as foreign nationals, are welcome to apply. There will be no age restriction.
• Candidates must have completed or be enrolled in class 12th level or its equivalent from any recognised board.
• Students must have received a minimum of 50% in their 12th grade.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST candidates) in their bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in Science, Arts, or Commerce to be considered.
• Graduates in Engineering or Technology with a specialisation in Mathematics and a minimum aggregate of 55 percent (50 percent for SC/ ST applicants) or equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply.
• Any of the classes from 1 to 8 are open to BSTC/ D.EI.Ed graduates with one year of teaching experience.
• Working/retired/dismissed defence category students, as well as one seat for Kashmiri migrants, have seats reserved under the B.Ed programme, according to NCTE guidelines.

VMOU B.Ed Admission Criteria

Aspiring candidates must clear the VMOU B.Ed entrance exam. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance exam. The section will be done through counselling sessions conducted by the university. The final admission is determined by the candidate's rank in the merit list, which is compiled using a combination of factors such as the B.Ed entrance exam score, academic excellence, and seat availability.

The VMOU B.Ed Entrance Exam is OMR-based and comprises of 150 questions. Each question is worth three points, making the exam a total of 450 points. VMOU B.Ed Application Process

The application process for the B.Ed program at VMOU is available online. The following are the steps to filling out the VMOU B.Ed application form:

Step 1: Go to the VMOU's official website (www.vmou.ac.in). Click 'Admission' on the homepage.

Step 2: Next, select 'Apply Now' to begin the online application form filling process.

Step 3: Carefully read the admission guidelines and sign the declaration. To continue with the application form completion, click 'I agree.'

Step 4: Fill out the first page of the VMOU application form 2024 with information such as your name, communication address, country, gender, guardian information, mobile number, and email address. Once you've finished, click the 'Save & Next' option.

Step 5: Complete all academic qualification details, beginning with Class 10 and ending with the most recent qualifying degree/exam.

Step 6: In PDF format, upload all required documents. Upload a recent passport-size photo in JPG/JPEG format as well (up to 100 kb).

Step 7: Examine the completed application and sign the declaration. To advance to the final step of the VMOU application process, click 'Submit.'

Step 8: Complete the application process by paying the entire course fee using a debit card, credit card, or net banking through the SBI payment gateway.

Applicants must pay a fee of Rs.1000/-. Candidates will be able to pay the application fee online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking account. The official body will not accept any requests for fee refunds.

VMOU B.Ed is a 2-year distance program. It is a professional undergraduate degree that prepares candidates to serve as teachers in schools. VMOU B.Ed Seat Reservation

VMOU provides reservation to its B.Ed program in accordance with Rajasthan government guidelines. According to NCTE guidelines, seats are reserved for working, retired, or discharged defence category students. One seat has been set aside for Kashmiri migrants at the university. Aside from seat reservation, VMOU allows SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD/ female candidates to receive a 5% reduction in minimum eligibility requirements.
