VMOU MBA is a 2-year distance learning course at the PG level. The maximum duration to complete the course is 4 years. MBA at VMOU is offered in 3 specializations- Marketing Management, Financial Management & Human Resource Management. The university offers its MBA program in more than 10 study centers that are located in Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, and other cities of Rajasthan. The total fee for VMOU MBA is INR 32,600. Admission will be granted on the basis of scores obtained in the VMOU Management Entrance Test (MET).

VMOU MBA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have one of the following to be eligible to apply for an MBA course:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent with at least 50% marks from any recognized University

OR

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree (TDC) or its equivalent from any recognized Institution with 3 years of Managerial/Supervisory/Professional Experience

OR

• Candidates must have Professional Degree in Medicine / Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Law

VMOU MBA Selection Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to MBA must clear the VMOU Management Entrance Test (MET). The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of scores obtained in the MET exam. Candidates having valid scores in the CAT/MAT/CMAT entrance examinations are exempted from the entrance test.

VMOU MBA Application Process

VMOU MBA admission process is completely online. There is no offline mode to apply at VMOU. Candidates must visit the Official Website of the University to fill up the application form. Candidates will have to pay the given amount- INR 1000, application fees through challan/ Online Banking/ e-Mitra. Given below is the step-by-step process to apply for VMOU MBA admission:

VMOU MBA Course Details

Two years MBA program curriculum offers 11 compulsory course subjects in 1st year and 5-course subjects in 2nd year. The MBA Program provides strategic management, ideas about business, practical experience and techniques in 2 years Course duration.

• Both 1st and second-year carry 66 credits
• The total credits for this course are 136
• Total of 180 hours of study is required for six credit courses
• In the second year, Candidates have 6 compulsory and can choose 5 subjects from the optional subjects
• Candidates will have Dissertation (practical) submission in 2nd year compulsory for all the students of every specialization
• Candidates must score a minimum of 36% in all the papers in two years to complete the MBA course.

VMOU MBA Syllabus

The MBA course is divided into two terms. The syllabus of each term is as follows:

VMOU MBA Term Evaluation

Evaluation will be continuous throughout the two years of the course having 20% marks of weightage which will consist of Internal Home Assignments.

A weightage of 80% marks will be based on the term-end examination which is taken place every June & December. Candidates can appear in any of the exams depending on their choice.
