Annamalai University MCA Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates seeking admission to MCA program offered at Annamalai University (AU) shall fulfill the below eligibility criteria:

Admission to MCA (1st Year)

• Must score a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree of a minimum duration of 3 years.
• 5% relaxation will be given to candidates belonging from SC/ST categories.

Admission to MCA (2nd Year)

• Must have passed BCA/ Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA)/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) / B.Sc. (Information Technology) from a recognized University
• Those who have completed PGDIT or PG Diploma in Computer Studies for a minimum duration of 1 year.
• Must have passed Computer Science / Information Technology (dual degree) from Annamalai University.

Admission of candidates to the MCA program offered at Annamalai University (AU) will be based on the merit list released through an entrance test TANCET followed by the personal interview.
