Gandhigram Rural Institute (GRI) Admission 2024: Online Application, Eligibility, Application process

Gandhigram Rural Institute offers BA, BBA, B.Sc, B.Tech, and Integrated courses at the UG level. The courses are offered for a duration of 3-5 years. Admission to these courses will be done through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).

Gandhigram Rural Institute UG Selection Criteria

Candidates who are willing to apply to Gandhigram Rural Institute must appear in Common University Entrance Exam (CUET) conducted by NTA. Selection will be based on the merit list which will be prepared according to the CUET scores.

• For courses like B.A, B.Com, M.A Integrated courses, General Test will be held under CUET 2022. Selection will be done according to the merit scored by the candidates.

Gandhigram Rural Institute UG Application Process

Candidates are required to register for CUET to apply for the UG courses. The step-by-step process to fill the CUET application form is mentioned below:

• Visit the official website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in.
• Read the prospectus properly before registering
• Provide all the required details for creating PASSWORD and application ID
• Fill in the application form using all the personal details, qualification details, University/programme selection, etc.
• Upload all the required scanned documents along with photograph and signature
• After completing the above steps, pay the application fees in online mode through UPI/Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
• Finally, the Application form is needed to be downloaded, saved and a printout must be taken out for future use

GRI college offers  PG degree in M.A with 6 specialisations, M.Sc. in 11 specializations, M.Com., M.Tech.,M.B.A.,M.C.A., M.Ed and M.A with 2 specialisations. 

The minimum eligibility for the candidates seeking admission to M.A is they should have passed Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline. For M.Com, the candiatre must have passed B.Com. or BBA or B.Com. (Cooperation) or B.A. Corporate Secretaryship or Cooperation or Rural Economics or Business Economics or B.Sc. with % marks. For M.Sc the candidate must have passed B.Sc. in the relevant discipline. In M.Tech., the candidate must have passed B.E./B.Tech./AMIE or PG Science with Diploma/Post Diploma in Renewable Energy with min. 55% marks. For M.B.A., the candidate must have passed bachelor’s in any discipline. For M.Ed., the candidate must have passed any UG/PG with 50% marks in B.Ed. For M.A (Integrated), the candidate must have passed 10+2.  

Admission to all the PG courses will be done based on the Entrance Test. Admission to M. Tech. will be done based on the GATE score or the entrance test conducted by GRI. For M.A (Integrated), it will be based on merit followed by counseling.

Note:

SC/ST candidates will be given relaxation of 5% in all the courses.
