1) Applicants are requested to read carefully the rules of eligibility and other instructions given in the prospectus.

2) Applicants who are willing to apply for more than one Programme should apply separately for each programme.

4) Instructions for filling-up the online application i) Scanned image of the passport size photograph (50 kb size) and scanned image of the signature should be uploaded in the appropriate box. ii) Scanned copy of the valid Eligibility certificate issued by the university have to be uploaded. Scanned copy of the community certificate (for SC/ST candidates only) have to be uploaded for Fees exemption as per Government norms. Scanned copy of the relevant certificate (for the Special Category) have to be uploaded by the candidates.

5) Xerox copies of the following certificates along with the original has to be produced at the time of the admission a) SSLC and HSC mark statement b) U.G./P.G. Degree Marks statement /Grade certificates/ Provisional Certificate. c) Community certificate obtained from Tashildar/ Deputy Tashildar concerned. d) Valid Eligibility certificate issued by Madurai Kamaraj University. e) Certificate of Differently abled/Leprosy cured: Candidates who want them to be considered under the Differently abled category should submit the certificate obtained from an authorized Medical Officer of the specialty concerned not below the rank of Civil Surgeon together with photograph showing the nature of handicap. f) Sports Certificate: Candidates who want them to be considered under the Sports category should produce a certificate obtained from the concerned University Physical Director in Form-I/II/III for having represented the State / Inter-University tournaments / athletics. g) Ex-Servicemen Certificate: Certificates to be produced. All M. Phil Programmes Rs.400/- 6 h) +2 markstatement. i) SC/ST candidates are exempted from the payment of Registration fee for only one programme (Registration fee has to be paid for applying for additional programmes). j) Filling with any wrong information or suppression of information may result in punitive action. k) All the columns in the application should be filled-in. Incomplete application will be rejected. l) Candidates should fill up their Phone/Mobile Number and e-mail Id compulsory.

1. Candidate should have passed Master's Degree in the relevant field obtained through the (10+2)+3+2 system or an equivalent qualification from the recognized University or equivalent to it.
2. He/She should be obtained a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
3. All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.
4. A Master degree in M.Sc Chemistry

Selection is based on the Marks obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by the University.?
