SASTRA B.Optom : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The Optometry program at SASTRA University, in collaboration with the Elite School of Optometry (ESO) in Chennai, is a four-year course comprising three years of academic study and a one-year internship. Admission is based on a combined merit score from NEET (25%) and 12th-grade board exams (75%). The program is delivered partly at SASTRA University and partly at ESO Chennai. SASTRA offers a strong research environment with two major hubs and highly qualified faculty, most of whom hold Ph.D. degrees. Tuition for the B.Optometry course is 55,000 INR per semester, and the program fee is 1.5 lakhs INR annually, with a 5% yearly increase.
