SASTRA University Admission 2023

Admissions to various programs at SASTRA University are both entrance and merit-based. Admission to B.Tech/ 5-Year Integrated M.Tech. program at SASTRA University is done under two streams which are as follows: 

• Stream 1 (Based on JEE (Main) Score and 10+2 Marks): 70% of Seats
• Stream 2 (Based on 10+2 Marks): 30% of Seats

For all other UG courses, admissions are based on the marks in the qualifying examination. For all PG courses, the admissions are based on scores in the qualifying degree programs and a written test. GATE qualified candidates will be given preference for M.Tech and candidates with good CAT / XAT / AIMAT / CMAT / AIMCAT scores will be given preference for MBA. For Law courses, admissions will be based on the CLAT Scores and 10+2 aggregate taken in the ratio of 25% : 75% respectively. Admission to Ph.D. will be based on the performance in aptitude and subject tests followed by a technical interview.
