PhD or Doctor of Philosophy is a doctorate degree course in education which is a professional certification. It is a globally recognized academic degree awarded by universities and higher education institutions to a candidate based on extensive and original research in the field chosen by candidates.
It is a 3 tier system of 2 years duration, eligibility for which is a master’s degree. The academic year commences generally in the month of July or August. The duration of the course may be reduced according to universities norms and rules.

Doctor of philosophy is a degree counted amongst the highest of degree levels which includes Philosophical orientations to conduct researches and to construct conceptualism, scale development process.
