Allahabad University M.Ed admission 2024 is open now. The last date for registration is June 05, 2024. The last date for registration and final submission of the PGAT 2024 application form is June 05, 2024. Interested candidates can register online through the official website at aupravesh2024.cbtexam.in. Admissions to the M.Ed program will be based on the Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT), conducted by the university. PGAT 2024 will be held in 3rd week of June. 

M.Ed at Allahabad University is a fullt-time program for a duration of 2 years. The university has a total of 50 seats for its M.Ed program. Candidates who have completed B.Ed or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for admission. Reservation and Relaxation for S.C./S.T./O.B.C./P.W.D. and other applicable categories as per the rules define by the Central Government Guidelines. Allahabad University M.Ed Eligibility Criteria

• Admission will be granted on the basis of admission test score. 
• Student must have 50% marks or equivalent grade in B.Ed. from any recognised university of NCTE. 
• 5% relaxation will be given to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD (means 45%).

Allahabad University M.Ed Admission Criteria

Selection of students will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination, conducted by the university.The admission test will be of 150 multiple choice type questions and each question will be carrying one mark. The time duration of test will be 2 hours.The questions will test the candidates in the following areas:

1. 10 Questions on Hindi Language Comprehension.
2. 10 Questions on English Language Comprehension.
3. 10 Questions on Current Affairs.
4. 20 Questions on Mental Ability.
5. 100 Questions on Core Course B.Ed. syllabus of the University of Allahabad.

Allahabad University M.Ed Application Process

Candidates have to fill and submit the application form online by following  the below-given steps:

• Registration: Candidates should log on to the official website of the university and select the desired program.
• Fill Application Form: Candidates should fill their details such as name, address and other mandatory details in accordance with the instruction given on the official website. Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature (With Black Ink and White Background).
• Fees Payment: Candidates should submit the required entrance test fees of Rs. 1600/- (Rs. 750 for SC/ST and PH candidates) at any branch of HDFC Bank. To pay the amount, Candidates have to download  Challan from the University of Allahabad official website.The test fees can also be submitted by ATM Debit Card/Credit card or through Net Banking.
• Submission of Application: After filling all the details, candidates are advised to check the filled details before clicking on submit button. After submitting the form successfully,  the website will show a confirmation message for the same. Once the form has been submitted successfully to the University, the candidate shall not be permitted to make any addition, deletion or alteration.

• The test fees will not be refunded or carried over in case the application of the candidate is rejected.
• The information entered in different columns is factually correct and complete.
• The application form shall not be accessible after the last date of application.

Allahabad University M.Ed Reservation

The Seats will be reserved for the candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), the Scheduled Tribes(ST) and OBC.

Reservation for Physically Challenged Candidates:  Candidates, who have a certified disability of not less than 40% in limb/orthopedic & physical disability of not more than 70% or a certified blind, may be admitted to the concerned course after the recommendation of Medical Board. 5% of the total seats are reserved for such students.
