Master of Physical Education [M.P.Ed] From CSJMU, Kanpur

CSJM offers a full-time Master of Physical Education (M.P. Ed.) for a duration of 2 years. Admission to the course is conducted via an entrance test followed by a physical test of the qualified students. CSJMU, Kanpur offers Masters in Physical Education (M.P.Ed) course for a duration of two years which is divided into four semesters.

Prescribed Coursework

• M.P. Ed. is a full-time post-graduation professional course in Physical Education.
• Each Semester will consist of 17-20 weeks of academic work.
• The odd semesters are scheduled from May/June to December/January and even semesters are scheduled from December/January to May/June.
• The syllabus for the course shall consist of 16 theory papers including 3 Core courses and 1 Elective in each semester.
• Four papers shall be offered in each of four semesters. Internals are also conducted by the departments.
• The curriculum of M.P. Ed. Will also consist of Practicals, Field Training, Seminar, Internship project, and Dissertation.
• Candidates must obtain at least 36% to be passed to the next semester or year.
• The candidate has to fulfill a minimum of 75% attendance in class records. Strict rules have been applied to the students regarding attendance.
• A candidate will be eligible for the award of M.P. Ed. Degree if he/she has completed the requirements of examinations successfully.
