M.Phil. (Economics) From Vidyasagar University, Midnapore

Aspirants seeking admission to 2 year Full-time M.Phil Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement: 

Candidate must have Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with minimum 55% marks for General candidates and 50% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates.

Entrance Exam:

• The admission test marks is 50 and Viva-voce marks is 50. The merit list will be according to the performance of admission test and viva-voce.
• Candidates qualified at the NET/GATE/SET/UGC (JRF)/CSIR (JRF) or any other examination that considered equivalent by the BRS shall also be exempted from appearing the written admission test. They have to appear at the interview/Viva-voce directly.
