Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement

The Candidate should be 17 years of age as on 31st December in the year of application.
The candidate must be a domicile of West Bengal.
The candidate must pass Higher Secondary ( 10+2) Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in science stream from any recognized Board/ Council from any institution within West Bengal.
The candidate must pass the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the above four subjects in regular class mode.
The candidate must obtain at least 50 % marks (40 % in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBCA, OBC-B, PwD) in above four subjects taken together.

Entrance Test:

Candidates must qualify in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering/ Technology (WBJEE) conducted by WBJEEB.
