No there aren't any admission tests. If you have 60 percent marks in your intermediate then you are good to go. Every year application is released out at the time of June to August time at the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences official website. Yes, there are reservation benefits as per the government rules and regulations you can get reservation benefits. One improvement I want to see is that Universities should have their own payment gateway then it will be much easier for students overall.
I have applied through my higher secondary marks, and I had come to know from press medium. Here admission process is very good. First the university release the student merit list on the basis of their marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English apart from this reservation benefits also there which is very helpful for the students who need this in our college their are 8 seats for SC candidates, 8 For OBC -B and 4 for OBC - A ,3 for ST candidates and 2 for PH challenged and 7 for ICAR quota . In our college there is no quota for EWS candidates. So I think, there must be atleast 10% quota for EWS candidates who actually belong to economical weaker sections.
We can graduate in BFSc. Course from this college. It's very helpful to get a governmental job as well as a private company job through these courses. Graduated students are also available to take a seat in Masters MFSc. Through Jrf exam all over India. We can also take admission in masters and PhD also in this college. Research facilities like labs etc etc are also available. There are very highly educated and professors are available in this college. So overall it's a very good course to get success in life. We can find admission from and notice on the university official site of West Bengal University Of Animal And Fishery Sciences. Admission fees are much less than 9850 is the admission fees with a hostel for BFSc. After lockdown admission seasons are hampered mainly July - August is the time of admission mainly. There are reserved seats for sc, st, obc-a & obc-b. I forgot about the number of reservation seats. You can check it from the official website. I want the admission process to start time.
Eligibility for this course - higher secondary results minimum 90% marks should be required in the higher secondary exam for admission in this college, no entrance exam, the admission form will be available on the online website. after the form is filled up online, the hard copy should be submitted to the university at belgachia. then after the application, the merit list will be published. then the counseling process will be started offline not online at Belgachia in the university. a total of 35--40 seats are available. Here also pg Ph.D. are available.
I find the application form from one of my friend's suggestion and my friend suggest me to do the same. My application fees is 5710 and the date of admission was last year. Myself belongs to general category so I don't get any reservation benefits. All the admission process is good but i, personally want to an entrance examination for admission procedure betterment.
Admission is based on marks obtained in Class 12 board examinations. Few seats are filled up through the ICAR AIEEA UG examination. The application form may be downloaded from the university website. A total of 44 seats are there in the BFSc course.
The admission process is done on the basis of marks obtained from the Higher secondary exam. After filling out the form online (University website), a merit list is published on the basis of marks. After that, a councelling program is conducted in the university where a limited number of students are asked to attend. The councelling program has some reservations about which SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PWD candidates can apply during their form fill-up. If the candidate is selected in the councelling program then he/she is required to pay the amount for admission fee (nearly 15000) in order to get admitted.
It's a 12th board exam basis admission. Apply online from the college website, no fees are needed for applying, then the merit list is shown and counselling starts. Mostly two or three counselling will be held. Only 44 students will be recruited.
For admission, 10+2 marks are needed. According to this merit list is published and students are called for counseling. It's a 4 years professional course. One can find admission notices on the University website. There are also reservations for SC, ST, OBC and PWD candidates.
There are a total of 44 seats, among them 37 are from state quota and 7 from ICAR. State quota seat intake is done through Higher Secondary marks (Bio, Phys, Chem, Eng). ICAR seats are from the ICAR-UG entrance exam.
