Adesh University Admission 2023: Dates, Courses, Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Application Process

Adesh University offers various UG programs under its different departments which are MBBS/ BDS/ BPT/ B.Sc. with 13 specializations/ BLISc/ B.Pharm. Each course is of different duration, MBBS is of five and a half year duration, BDS is of five-year duration, BPT is of four and a half year, B.Sc. in Nursing/ Optometry/ Cardiac Care Technology is of four-year duration, B.Sc. in Post Basic Nursing is of two-year duration, B.Pharm is of four-year duration, B.Sc. in all the remaining specializations is of three-year duration and BLISc is of one-year duration.

The eligibility criteria for each course is different. Applicants who have passed 10+2 in Science stream from a recognized Board and have qualified NEET-UG are considered eligible to get admission in MBBS/ BDS Degree courses.

Similarly, the minimum eligibility requirement of BPT course is pass in 10+2 with at least 50% marks (45% for the reserved category). Applicants who have passed 10+2 Medical with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates) with English as compulsory subject is considered eligible for B.Sc. in Nursing.

For Post Basic// Nursing program, students who have passed 10+2 & GNM are eligible and for B.Sc. in MRI/ CT Tech applicants who have qualified 10+2 Medical/ Non-medical are considered eligible.

For all other disciplines of B.Sc., minimum eligibility criteria is pass in 10+2 in any relevant specialization from a recognized Board. Those who have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Biotechnology with minimum 40% marks (35% for SC/ ST candidates) are eligible to get admission in B.Pharm program.

Minimum eligibility requirement of BLISc is Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from AICTE approved University.

Admission to MBBS and BDS programs is given through NEET-UG conducted by CBSE, while admission to BPT/ B.Sc./ BLISc is given through inter-se-merit and to B.Pharm course is given based on candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination and the entrance test conducted by the University.

List of Courses:

MS/ MD/ M.Sc. / Pharma D/ MBA/ MLISc programs are offered by Adesh University under its curriculum. MS and MD courses are of three-year duration, Pharma D is of six-year duration, M.Sc. and MBA are of two-year duration and MLISc is of one-year duration.

Applicants who have passed MBBS or have an equivalent qualification with permanent registration with MCI are considered eligible for MD and MS course.

Candidates who have passed HSC with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Biology/ Mathematics as an optional subject are eligible to get admission in Pharm D program. Eligibility criteria of MLISc course is, to have BLISc Degree.

Similarly, to get admission in M.Sc. in Lab Tech course candidate must have passed B.Sc. in Lab Tech, while to get admission in M.Sc. Nursing candidates must have passed B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

Minimum eligibility criteria for admission to M.Sc. in any of the remaining disciplines is having MBBS/ BDS/ BVSc/ BAMS/ BHMS/ B.Sc. Nursing /BPT /B.Pharm./B.Sc. Medical (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry)/ B.Sc. (MLT) with minimum 50% marks.

Applicants who hold MBBS/ BD/ BVSc/ BAMS/ B.Sc. (Nursing)/ BPT/ B.Pharm degrees with minimum 40% marks are eligible to get admission in MBA Hospital Administration (Part/ Full Time) course and those who have passed Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 40% marks are considered eligible to get admission in MBA Hospital Administration Executive program.

Admission to MD and MS program is given through NEET-PG conducted by NBE, whereas in M.Sc./ MBA/ MLISc/ Pharm D admission is done based on candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination.

List of Courses:

Adesh University offers PG Diploma course of one-year duration with five specializations.

Shortlisting of candidates is done by considering the merit scored in the qualifying examination and admission is given through the counselling session conducted by the University.

Those who hold B.SC. RIT Degree and B.Sc. MLT degree are considered eligible to get admission in MRI/CT or Blood Bank and Transfusion Tech specialization.

Applicant who holds MD/ MS/ MBBS/ BDS/ BVSc/ M.Pharm/ B.Pharm/ M.Sc. Pharmacology with minimum 40% marks is eligible for Pharmacovigilance/ Clinical Research specializations, whereas minimum eligibility criteria required for Hospital Administration is passing in Graduation Degree course with minimum 40% marks.

Admission to PG Diploma program is given through counselling conducted by the University for the shortlisted candidates. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination.

List of Courses:

GNM of 3 years duration, Diploma in Pharmacy of two-year duration and Diploma in 7 other specializations of one-year duration is offered by Adesh University to the aspirants.

Students who have passed 10+2 with minimum 40% marks are eligible for GNM admission. Similarly, Diploma in Pharmacy requires candidates who have completed 10+2 in science stream, while those who have passed 10+2 in any discipline are considered eligible to get admission in any specialization of Diploma program.

Candidates are admitted to GNM and Diploma programs only on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination.

List of Courses:

Minimum eligibility criteria required to get admission in any specialization of Advanced Diploma course is pass 10+2 in any discipline or one-year Diploma in a relevant discipline is considered eligible to get admission in the second year of the program through lateral entry.

Adesh University offers 5 specializations in Advanced Diploma course of two-year duration.

Admission to the eligible candidates is given through the counselling process conducted by the University considering the merit in the qualifying examination.

List of Courses:

Candidates with MD/ MDS/ M.Sc. Degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University are considered eligible to get admission in the Ph.D. program.

The University conducts entrance test and personal interview round and gives admission to the eligible candidate on the basis of their performance. Candidates who have qualified UGC NET/CSIR-NET/JRF examination or GATE/SLET/Teacher Fellowship, and M.Phil. Examination are exempted from the entrance test conducted by the University.

Adesh University offers part-time/ full-time Ph.D. programs of maximum five or four-year respectively with 8 specializations.
