Rayat Bahra Patiala Campus, Patiala Admission 2024: Application process, Scholarship

Rayat Bahra Patiala Campus offers B.Tech course in 4 specializations and has a total intake of 300 students.

Applicants to the B.Tech course must have completed 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks and Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the following as an optional subject – Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject.

Admission to the B.Tech course will be done on the basis of JEE Main scores.

The university also offers B.Tech Lateral Entry admission for which candidate must pass in Diploma in Engineering. Admission to lateral entry is done on the basis of merit.

Rayat Bahra Patiala Campus offers BBA, BCA, B.Com. (Hons.), BA LLB, B.Pharm and B.Ed. courses at the UG level. These courses have a total intake of 420 students.

Applicants to BBA, BCA, B.Com (Hons) and BA LLB courses should have completed 10+2 from any stream to be eligible to apply. For B.Pharm, applicants must have completed 10+2 from the science stream. For B.Ed., applicants should have done Graduation from any discipline.

Admission to all the UG courses will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Key Points:

• For B.Pharm and BBA, applicants must have studied English as a compulsory subject in 10+2 examination.
• For BA LLB, applicants should not be more than 20 years of age at the time of application.
• SC and ST candidates who are applying to the BA LLB course should be less than 22 years of age.

• The college may also conduct a personal interview round for the eligible candidates before granting admission.

Rayat Bahra Patiala Campus offers M.Tech, MBA and MCA courses at the PG level. The PG courses have a total intake of 156 students.

For M.Tech course, candidates must have passed B.Tech degree in a relevant stream with 55% marks. For MBA and MCA, candidates must have passed any Bachelor’s degree of minimum three-year duration from a recognized university.

Admission to M.Tech is done on the basis of GATE score and to other PG courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

For Diploma course, candidates must have 10th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects.

Admission to the Diploma in Engineering course will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
