SRK University Admission 2023: Cutoff, Courses, Fees, Application Form, Eligibility

B.E. is a popular course available at SRKU among applying students each year. The following specialisations are available for students to apply to.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students applying for the B.E. programs at SRKU should have cleared their 12th with a minimum aggregate of 45% to be eligible. 
• All applicants must sit for the JEE Mains exam conducted all over India. 
• The cut off marks and the marks obtained by the student will make him/her eligible for any respective college. 

Selection Criteria

• Applicants are finally selected based on their performance in 12th and the scores achieved by them in JEE Mains. 
• The cut off marks are released by the central authority and a minimum of 78% is expected to be selected for the course. The common rank list scores are much higher and close to 89% as expected in the year 2021. 
• The final selection of the student is based on the cumulative marks of the student.

Bachelor of Dental Surgery is provided by SRKU under their under-graduate course curriculum and the admission is based on the national level medical exam that is NEET. It is a five year program students can pursue if they had PCB in 11th and 12th. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Students with science stream in their 11th and 12th will only be eligible to apply for the BDS course at SRKU.
• All applicants must sit for the NEET exam that is conducted country wide for students applying for medical programs. 
• The minimum pass marks range for NEET is 701 - 134 and any applicant should attain the minimum marks to be eligible for admission. 
• After the merit list of NEET is out, all students must appear for the counseling session to attain admission. 

Selection Criteria

• Marks scored by the student in 12th along with a cumulative of the NEET scores will decide the student’s selection for BDS program. 
• Selection is also based on the college selected by the central authority of NEET, for the student. 

BHMS is available as a course under the under-graduate program at SRKU and students can apply for it after they have successfully given the NEET exam in the current year. The allocation of college will be based on their scores. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Students with science streams in their 11th and 12th will only be eligible for admission. 
• All applicants must sit for the NEET exam that is conducted nationally. 
• Attaining minimum marks that is between 701-134 is mandatory for all candidates applying for the BHMS course. 

Selection Criteria

• Selection of the student in the BHMS course is decided as per NEET regulations. 
• It is important that students attain minimum marks to be selected for the program. 
• Applicants must have been a part of the counselling session conducted after NEET exam. 

 MBBS is a popularly offered course by SRKU and hundreds of applicants are seen every year. The applying students in the current year must be aware of the competitive exam they need to give to be selected in the course. 

Eligibility Criteria

• The NEET exam for MBBS has to be given by all applicants to be eligible. 
• It is compulsory that all students must have had PCB in their 11th and 12th. 
• Minimum qualifying marks have to be obtained to be eligible for admission. 

Selection Criteria

• Minimum 50% is required in NEET exam for the student to be qualified for admission. 
• Counseling sessions conducted by NEET finally will decide the student’s selection in the course.

B.Sc., BA, B.Com. are some of the popular courses offered by SRKU at UG level. Eligibility criteria for all of them is that the students must have cleared 10+2 in the respective stream and his/her aggregate should match the minimum requirement of the University. B.Sc program is offered in the following specializations:

Eligibility criteria

• Students applying for the undergraduate courses at SRKU must have cleared 10+2 in the respective streams, as required by the specialisations they are applying for.
• A minimum 45% aggregate is must for the student to be eligible for any of the courses.

Selection Criteria

The selection of the student will be based on the cumulative score of his/her scores in 10+2 examination and performance in the interview.

Diploma courses are available at SRKU for students who have cleared 10th, 12th or are looking for an undergraduate equivalent program. There are many specialisations available including Agriculture, engineering and more.

Eligibility Criteria

• Every student applying for the diploma must have cleared his/her 10th grade examination.
• A minimum of 45% aggregate marks are expected from the student in his/her previous educational program.

Selection Criteria

• Students are selected based on their scores in the educational program they have last attended.
• Selection decisions overall lie with the admission committee and a student's overall performance will be a major factor.

SRKU provides post-graduate diplomas to students interested in pursuing a short term course right after graduation instead of going for a complete post-graduate degree. The diploma can be for 1 or 2 years depending on the specialisation.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants should have an under-graduate degree in order to be eligible for the post-graduate diploma courses. 
• Minimum 40% aggregate is required for the candidate to be eligible for admission.

Students are selected in the post-graduate diploma courses based on their performance during their under-graduate course.

• Applying students must have a bachelor's degree in the respective stream or specialisation they are applying for.

• Performance during the undergraduate degree will be a major deciding factor during the selection process.
• The scores acquired by the student during the last educational program will be assessed while selecting.

SRKU offers the doctor of medicine post-grad course in six specializations and all of them are in the Homeopathy category.

• Applicants should have an under-graduate degree to be eligible for the MD post-graduate course. 
• Minimum 40% aggregate is expected in the under-graduate course taken by the student.

Selection of students in the MD course is based on his/her performance in under-graduate courses previously taken up. 

Master of Dental Surgery is what students usually pursue after completion of BDS, hence SRKU provides a very diversified number of options which the students can opt for.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students applying for MDS will only be eligible if they hold a BDS degree previously. 
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks are expected by the university in the candidate's undergrad. 

Selection Criteria

Selection of the students in the MDS course is based on their performance in previous educational qualifications only. 

M.Tech and M.E. are the two most applied courses in SRKU and have seven specialisations for which the students can apply. All students must apply right after they have undertaken the GATE exam in the current year. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Only students who have appeared for the GATE exam in the current year will be eligible for admission in M.Tech. and M.E.
• Undergraduate degree in B.tech. Or B.E. Is a must to have for all applying candidates in both courses. 

Selection Criteria

Selection of the student in M.Tech. and M.E. is based on the scores obtained by him/her in GATE exam.

SRKU offers MBA as a course to students under its postgraduate courses segment. Admission to the course is based on the scores secured by the student in the common entrance test conducted all over India. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Students with an undergraduate degree will be eligible for admission in MBA courses and a minimum of 50% aggregate is expected.
• CAT/MAT scores will also be required during the admission process. 

Selection Criteria

• Common entrance tests conducted all over India which are CAT or MAT scores will decide the student’s selection of the course. 
• Marks scored by the student previously in any educational institution will also be considered here. 

M.Pharm is offered by SRKU with four key specialisations under the program. The admission to the course is based on student’s scores in previous educational institutions. The following specialisations are available under M.Pharm.

Eligibility Criteria 

• All students with an undergraduate degree in respective specialisations will be eligible for admission in M.Pharm.
• Minimum required scores for admission are 50% in the undergraduate degree pursued previously by the candidate. 

Selection Criteria

• Selection of the student here is completely based on merit entirely hence he/she must have scored the required scores by the university.

MCA is a highly applied course in SRKU as the placements are extremely good and the admission to the course is done on merit basis. 

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants will only be eligible for MCA if they have acquired 50% scores in their undergraduate degree. 

Selection Criteria

MCA candidates are selected in the university after looking at their previous performance and an interview is also conducted thereafter.

Ph.D. is a popular course at SRKU because of the 17 specialisations it offers to students in various disciplines. The selection process is very authentic and regulated which ensures all deserving students have the required chance.

Eligibility Criteria

• All applicants for the Ph.D. program must have a postgraduate degree in the stream they are applying for.
• Appearing in the entrance exam conducted by the university for doctoral programs specifically will make the student eligible for admission.
• The exam for admission is of 100 marks and a theory paper with two sections of 50 questions each. The student must finish this within two hours to clear. 

Selection Criteria

• Selection of the student for the doctoral program is based entirely on the 100 marks exam conducted by the university.
• The student must sign to follow all the regulations and rules that come with the research program to confirm admission.
