Maharishi Arvind University, Jaipur Admission 2024: Ph.D. Admission, Application process

Maharshi Arvind University (MAU) offers full-time B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, BA, B.Li.Sc and LL.B programs at UG level. The university also offers integrated B.Sc.-ABM and BBA—LL.B courses for the duration of five years. Admission to all the courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination. Admission to BBA LLB and LLB is done on the basis of MAULET.

MAU offers full-time B.Pharm and B.Tech courses in various disciplines. The basic eligibility for B.Pharm and B.Tech course is a pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics as mandatory subjects.

Admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

MAU also offers Full-Time M.Sc, M.Com., MA, M.Ed, M.Li.I.Sc, MCA & LL.M courses at PG level. Students can also opt for MCA (lateral-entry) course for which the minimum eligibility criteria is BCA/B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a main subject at 10+2 or Graduation level.

Admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Maharishi Arvind University offers M.Tech and MBA in Dual-specialization as a part of PG professional courses. The eligibility criteria for a candidate seeking admission for M.Tech and MBA is a graduation in respective discipline. Selection is done the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Note: The students attending Final-year Examination can apply provisionally but should produce valid documents at the time of admission.

Ph.D. is offered as a full-time program in the University. The course is offered in 8 specializations. The basic eligibility for the Ph.D. course is a PG Degree in the relevant field. The admission for the Ph.D. course is based on the candidate’s % of marks in PG qualifying examination. The admission process is conducted by the University.

Ph.D. Application form can be downloaded from the university website. Students are advised to send the duly filled along with the Application Fee of INR 2000 in the form of DD and desired documents to the university address.

Note: GATE/ NET/ SLET or JRF qualified candidates are also eligible to apply.

Maharishi Arvind University Jaipur Ph.D. Selection Criteria:  Selection to Ph.D. program offered by MAU is based on candidates’ performance in both Written Test and Interview. Written Test will be of 100 marks with two sections as discussed below:

The University offers Diploma in Engineering and Pharmacy department. It also offers PG Diploma in Law disciplines.

The basic eligibility for Diploma course in Engineering is a pass in 10th Examination from a recognized board.  The minimum eligibility for Diploma in Pharmacy is a pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Mathematics as mandatory subjects. The candidate seeking admission for PG Diploma in Law should be a graduate in LLB or relevant field.  

The admission process for the Diploma and PG Diploma courses are conducted by the University and is based on the candidate’s score in the qualifying examination.
