Fee Concessions: Wards of Freedom Fighters and Defence Personnel (Serving and Retired): 20% concession in Tuition fees, will be allowed to Sons/Daughters of Armed Forces/Para Military Forces/Police Force Personnel. Students from Minority Communities: 20% concession in Tuition fees, will be allowed to students from Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Jain, Parsi and Buddhist communities, who secure 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Differently-abled students: 20% concession in Tuition fees will be allowed to differently-abled students with 30% or higher impairment. |
University/College Scholarships |
Relations of Existing Students of BSDU: 25% concession in Tuition fees will be allowed to a student whose brother/sister/spouse is already a student of BSDU. The concession will continue till both the students are studying at the university and will cease once any one of them leaves the university. BSDU students joining the next Higher Degree in the University: BSDU Students who have completed any degree at the University and who join the University for a higher degree will be allowed 25% concession in Tuition fees. University Employees and their Wards: 50% concession in Tuition fees will be allowed to self/spouse/son/daughter of University Employees. This fee concession will hold as long as the employee continues to work at the University. Teaching Assistantship for Post Graduate (PG) students: 20% of the students admitted in a PG program, in the order of merit, will be given a Teaching Assistantship of INR 5000 per month. They would be required to take a teaching load of 6-8 hours per week. Note: A student can avail only one scholarship/fee concession at a time. |

Merit Scholarships: B.Voc and B.Tech (UG) Students admitted directly: Students having 90% or more marks in 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination, will be eligible for a scholarship equivalent to 100% of the Tuition Fees. B.Voc and B.Tech (UG) Students admitted through the University entrance examination: Students admitted through the University Entrance Examination and getting 90% and higher marks in the Examination will be eligible for a Scholarship equivalent to 50% of the Tuition fees. Note: The above scholarships will be given at the time of admission and will continue for the first year only. To retain the scholarships in subsequent years, the student has to maintain a minimum CGPA of 8.0, else the Scholarship will be withdrawn. |
